"The story revolves around a person, who is wandering endlessly around a mysterious place, swallowed by the sands and left untouched for many many years. The person is guided towards a mysterious light, emitting from an unknown energy source. Even though he does not know what the light is or what its purpose is, it induces a sort of calmness in the person. The light actually serves as a passage between the sand lands and other worlds far far away, but it has not been in use for a long time, until now. 

The sounds in the track, “Epiphany”, had a lot of spacy, otherworldly mood to it, and so I wanted to emulate the same feeling into the cover. The intention with the planet in the middle was to make it ambiguous whether the location of the scene is on Earth or another world, but also to give it more of a sci-fi feel to it."

Thank you soo much for listening to my “Rezz - Voice In The Wall” flip! This track means a lot to me, as it was the first Rezz track I heard, back in 2016. I immediately fell in love with her music and discovered she was an amazing and inspiring person as well! Her music and her way of being in the music industry, was one of the things that gave me confidence to release my own music earlier this year. I am breathing electronic music since late 70s and that's over 44 years now. From Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre, Mike Oldfield, Depeche Mode, Erasure, Yazoo, Alphaville, Men without Hats, Nitzer Ebb, Die Krupps, Front 242, Anne Clark, Camouflage, Gary Numan, OMD, Apopytygma Berzerk and even the Commodore 64 demo & break dance scene to more contemporary Electronic music artists, I witnessed the evolution of Electronic music, which basically means I am an old fart and consider myself an authority in this music genre 😵 Currently I listen DnB almost exclusively. But I do not like to restrict myself at all, enjoying flavors like Electronica, Trance, Psytrance, Tech House, Dubstep, Deep House, Future Pop, Trap, Techno, UK Bass and of course EBM/Industrial as well.

What you will find in my likes and playlists is the top of the crop in Electronic Music, I will  absolutely not list any bullshit. A track I have not listed might be just that: Bullshit, just mediocre or an artistic gem which I have not discovered yet.  I also uploaded some tracks which I thought were missing in Soundcloud but shouldn't be missed out.

I hope you will enjoy the journey like I did so far.

My list is of course not complete and my journey to Electro Heaven still continues ;)

WARNING: Most of my listed songs are not suited for dancing because I don't choose my tracks according to their compatibility with the dancefloor or the artist's popularity ranking (i did not list a single song/remix of teen-favorites like Madonna, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Sia, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Scooter, Die Antwoort, etc , because we adults are not attracted by visual performances any more, but by musical artistry and mastery, aka what remains when all is distilled down to the core, sorry to disappoint you ;)). I have strict criteria like originality, ingenuity and passion and love the artist has put into the song. If it has a genuine melody/vibe, seethes with artistic devotion and has over-the-top vocals it's definitely a plus. Ad hoc compositions for the sake of loud noise or a quick buck I definitely will not list here.

FINAL NOTE: My playlists are exquisite, World Class and a treasure trove for every serious DJ out there ;)
