Having stepped into fourth year of existence the factory of Depth.Request manufactures an article in form of an EP titled "Night Wounds Time" produced by British-born underground scene veteran Mahk Rumbae under the guise antechamber, which—in slight contrast to his arguably better known alias Codex Empire—he ostensibly reserves for a more dysfunctional brand of electronic music intended as much for frantic terpsichorean participation as for contemplating the inevitable under the gloom of moonless nights. In line with offbeat nature of sounds presented, the release gives a subtle nod to Tod Phillips' literary oeuvre "A Humument", borrowing its name and track titles from the lines within the idiosyncratic book.

Hybral is a Berlin-based non-binary DJ and producer drawn to eerie energetic industrial techno. They mix and produce haunting techno and noisy-driven experimental sounds - creating dystopian and menacing atmospheres and capturing feelings of anger, anxiety, chaos, fear, tension and pain.  Hybral's productions are made of dark atmospheric patterns linked with pushing percussions and basslines as well as heavily distorted kicks and harsh industrial noises. 

In this mix, Hybral focuses on the rather slower side of industrial techno, giving it a sexy and texturised touch.

They are also founder of the queer label, event and podcast SUBVERTED that is focusing on industrial techno with influences by dark ambient, noise, EBM and hypnotic techno. SUBVERTED curates queer parties with equally queer line-ups, showcasing non-binary, trans, female, inter, and agender DJs and producers focusing on dark, harsh, athmospheric and texturised sounds. the intention is to lead the scene back to its roots of diversity and social justice. SUBVERTED stands in resistance to the personality cult and intends to put the focus back on music and community building.

She!k brings us another heady dose of explosive industrial techno taking his modular rig right to the max. All manner of weird and wonderful metallic noises create a euphoric cacophony unlike anything we've heard before as syncopated dark heavy beats rumble and roll in the sonic frequencies below. 
We are also delighted to welcome Duellist to the Revok family for the first time with a banger of a remix for this release. Duellist delivers his signature Hard-Hitting Industrial sound with a dance floor centric interpretation of She!k's original.  
As part of the celebrations for our recent Revok party in Tokyo we are also releasing a previously unreleased remix of She!k's "Other People" [RVK22] by Ishikawa Tomohiro from Nagoya.

‘Cutting Thighs’ is an aggressive play on words of the classical idiom ‘Cut Ties (with
someone)’ and refers to the darker side of losing a long-standing relationship.
The album makes use of distorted drums and unique synths blended with recorded foley.
Several rooms made from recorded impulse responses from real locations around my
home island helped add a personal touch into this album.
The aim was to create a digital head-trip without conforming to a specific style.
