Evocative, compelling and powerful! A magnanimous creation of sound that courses through your body leaving you reeling from wave after wave of emotion and excitement!

Fascinating music! Quite "Fresh" I must say, it's progressive without being "Cliché" and that's quite rare specially nowadays I guess, and like someone said here before, there is definitely a "Touch" of Tool there, aswell as other influences I detected, but still you created your own sound, really liked it, could listen for hours, will try to buy the album as soon as I can!

Epiphany

Inspired by bands such as Tool, Nine Inch Nails and Karnivool, and infusing grooving riffs with orchestral arrangements to round out their sound, the music of Socionic flows from brutal to beautiful as it bends the genres of progressive, metal, rock and ambient to fervently carry a message that moves the mind.  The Los Angeles based quartet further divulges their identity through other mediums, eliciting symbolic artwork, video, and prose to fully express and explore the depths of their creative journey.

Recently wrapping production on their new crowd funded and self produced album “Dividing Horizon”, the band is expanding their live show production and moving to the performance phase to promote the November 12th release.  Their return to stage was marked by a packed house performance at The Glass House in Pomona as main support for Nothing More, and is being followed by a pair of performances at The Viper Room alongside members of TOOL, Kyuss and Fu Manchu to celebrate the new release.

The group has already garnered favorable reactions from the press with Music Connection Magazine rating their debut EP "Identity" in their Top 25 New Music Critiques of the year, citing: "Stellar performances, rich production and an ability to craft multi-level tunes that would improve any sci-fi/horror soundtrack."  In their review of the recent album release show at The Viper Room, Metal Assault stated: “[Socionic] put on a performance that completely floored a packed house and emphatically exceeded the expectations of even their longtime fans in attendance. ...This was the heaviest set I’ve ever witnessed by anyone at the Viper Room, and I have been to a lot of shows here ...An unbelievably supreme performance, one that left the audience stunned and overwhelmed.”
