Here it is. The album. This is Thorns. This is everything. This album tells the tale of being repeatedly kicked down. This album tells the tale of what could go wrong when you mess with someone’s insecurities, sanity, heart and soul. After sleepless nights, huge fights, family issues, trauma, unhealthy relationships, multiple psychotic breakdowns, severe anxiety and a suicidal mental state, I did it. After 6 years of trying to find the pieces and here it is. 

I can’t stress enough on how important this album is to me. I genuinely recorded myself having panic attacks to add more flare to some tracks. I spent time away from friends and family to just work on this. I lost over 37 pounds since I didn’t want to stay up and snack on goodies but instead I wanted to work on this and everytime I would eat snacks or get lazy, I’d forcefully make myself puke just to feel as shit as possible so I could bring out more emotion and pain. Being hungry made me annoyed and made it easier to be aggressive, it also made me sad since I would feel empty inside which helped a lot once I got to finishing the more emotional cuts on this record. I would relive horrible memories due to PTSD and still find the willpower to get something done. I was hooked on drugs and medication yet I still kept on going with this album, recording while being high as a kite or completely fucked. I still worked on this project, even if I wasn’t sober. I tried to take my life several times too but I didn’t go through with it, instead I incorporated my suicidal thoughts into this album. I officially come out of the closet on this record too and I’m fucking proud of myself for doing that.

This is the biggest project I've ever worked on and I am ecstatic to let you all hear it. I have never released anything this good, ever, and I hope you'll love this album as much as I do. It blew me away how proud I was of this once it was finished. I couldn’t believe it, I finally found myself.
