This song is track #13 on Fragmented Aura's debut album "Formulating Caustic Subterfuge", which is currently being shopped around to various labels for a distribution deal and an official release. In full, the album offers up seventeen devastating tracks of experimental/technical grindcore the likes of which the extreme metal community has not heard before!

Fragmented Aura - Kaishnikov Messia

Sociopathic Sound Records is proud to announce the first signing by the label!  PURIFY THE HORROR are a three-piece grindcore act based out of the U.K.; each one of them is considered a longtime veteran of the underground/extreme music scene - there's no doubt these guys know how to play fast, aggressive, brutal, and some have even gone so far as to describe it "horrifying" grind mixed with bits of death metal, gore(grind), crust, and occasionally a few other styles can be heard.

The band is releasing their debut recording, a 12-track "Untitled" EP, through Sociopathic Sound Records & Dissected Records on July 30, 2013. The initial formatting availability will be strictly digital (no CDs or LPs.....yet) and offered via both sources for absolutely $0.00!

Keep your eyes open for SOCIOPATHIC MIXTAPE, VOL. 5, due out sometime between July 4 and July 7.  The newest installment to the renowned series of compilations contains 110 songs by just as many bands, and amongst this massive amount of material you'll find the exclusive world premier of a second track from PURIFY THE HORROR's "Untitled EP", called "Restitution" (and boy....is it a slammer!).

Purify The Horror - "PIG"

Brand new song by Michigan natives NO CLASS ASSASSINS, featuring Kevin Talley, who has been or currently is a member of: Six Feet Under, The Black Dahlia Murder, Dying Fetus, Devildriver, Misery Index, Chimaira, Daath, Cattle Decapitation, Battlecross, and more!). 

This particular track is a complete 180 degree turn from the band's previous output, found on their EP from 2011 entitled "The No Class EP"; whereas all five of those songs are hard hitting, straight up metal (combining thrash, groove, crust, hardcore, etc.), "Cocaine" seems as though it was more of a fun project to partake in when the opportunity arose to work with Kevin.

Sounding more akin to Black Sabbath, Down, or Weedeater than Sepultura, Pantera, or The Afternoon Gentlemen, "Cocaine" is inarguably a stoner metal track mixed in with a good deal of sludge. The vocals do become aggressive in the later part, which makes for a very interesting dynamic!

Observant fans will notice this isn't the first time we've worked with No Class Assassins, and there's a good reason why we're posting this newly released song up here now!  These guys absolutely slay, so expect to see and hear more from them very soon!

No Class Assassins feat. Kevin Talley - "Cocaine"

Another "veteran" band of The Sociopathic Mixtape series and general collaboration with our fine establishment & team behind the madness, IDYLLS made their debut appearance early on - Volume 1 of the compilations which have now grown to be immensely popular.

These Australian madmen raged onto the underground scene, fists swinging and heads banging following the release of "Farewell All Joy", their first full length effort. And hot damn, did that album receive rave reviews from just about every extreme music publication, website, and blog - it wasn't merely an example of widespread acceptance as a legitimate band, but rather a rare case of near-universal adoration for IDYLLS' strange & unique sound, standing apart from the endless mess of generic grind bands you couldn't tell apart if your life depended on it.

"Pay With Youth" comes from the outfit's newest release, a simple but nevertheless breathtaking 4-track EP which goes by the name "Indian Circle" -- independently made available by the musicians on March 4th of this year.

This track, along with the three others from the EP, set a different kind of tone than the material on "Farewell.."; that's not to claim the band has somehow drastically altered their sound or "sold out" in any manner of speaking - the intensity, ferociousness, and no holds barred attitude is still there, as is the immediate recognition of this band as one of the best and most talented collective of grinders to take to the underground scene in a long time.

IDYLLS suggested we utilize "Pay With Youth" for inclusion in the newest edition(s) of the compilation series after we broached the subject with the members. The plan originally had the song on the second half of Mixtape, Vol. 5; however, due to a few last-minute additions as well as unforeseen circumstances approximately 23 artists who initially were meant to appear on the pending (newest) edition - and, in fact, all 23 of them DID make the first 'draft' uploaded to Bandcamp - had to regrettably be dropped.

The decision had nothing to do with the quality of these musicians (as if that wasn't obvious in this case considering we can't say enough good things about IDYLLS) or music, but primarily with space.....as in the # of slots ultimately available.

All that said, we're still going to honor the greatness of IDYLLS (along with some of the other bands who we struggled to take out of Vol. 5's listing) by streaming the track they wanted us to stream. The only real difference here is that since the song isn't part of a larger package such as a mixtape, it remains listenable through a high speed stream but NOT downloadable from our Soundcloud page.

Fans who haven't yet realized IDYLLS wrote, recorded and released four all-new songs can very easily go grab the whole EP at "Name Your Own Price" (and of course "Name Your Format"), which includes $0.00 for those who do not wish to or those who cannot support the group financially at this time.
