P.S.: I know M&J didn't use the Roland D-50, but I like the Synth Strings found on it.

Rules & Regulations - Season 1-2 Style Cover

Here's my (late) 80th anniversary piece! Sorry I couldn't get this out sooner. And before anyone asks, yes this is slightly based on One Tram Band's arrangement.

Thomas The Tank Engine Theme Tune

Whaaat?! Two back-to-back posts?!

This one was born out of curiosity - I really wanted to push the comfort zone with this one. I did a lot of experimenting until I got a sound I was happy with!

I think the main breakthrough here was learning to use each section's individual instruments as, well, individual instruments. Where previously I would treat string and brass instruments as a whole group playing one thing, this time I've got the fiddle on lead with the piccolo (if i remember correctly).

I got the brass right this time around too! I got the tubas doing bass which gives the theme a funny "bwhomp" sound, and I like that.

This theme is free to use, if the proper credit is given!

Description: I've never really made any Season 6-7 themes but I thought I'd give this a try as it's a pretty simple 3/4 beat. Using the most basic orchestral instruments, flute, bassoon, clarinet etc. But still Mixcraft has a decent instrument set for Season 3-7 music.

Sodor Themes - Emily The Stirling Engine

Can you tell me what art is? I used to avoid that question, considering it to be a distraction from actual art making. Well, that was half a decade ago. Now, I think I got an answer (at least one for these bizarre times).
Art is what we do, and I don't mean the finished painting, the printed book, the .wav file of this track (that's the art product, but you can disagree). Art is the work of making it, the moments of expression, the struggle, the process, the self-doubt, the joy of learning, of discovery, of creating, even if nothing concrete comes from it.
In that sense, anything we do can be art, and I honestly think it may be. To make art is to live, and the artist at work is simply one living true to themself. 
And we can all be artists.
Just live and let live.
