The last chapter in my mix series Songs About Us. This project has been so therapeutic to work on and listen to and I hope that anyone listening feels the same way. We all go through hard chapters in our lives but what's important is to overcome and continue living. New Beginnings is the end of a story and the start of another. Hope you all enjoy!!

Honestly, I never found myself finishing this one. I kept finding myself unhappy with everything I tried to make, but in the end, I’m so happy with how this came out and the direction of the entire series too. SoundCloud is flooded with great mixes nowadays, so I always wanted to put out something at least a little bit different. If you’ve been listening since the earlier mixes, you probably noticed the feeling of the mixes change during the series. About halfway through, I kind of just said fuck it, strayed away from what I thought people would like and started playing what I like. The feeling got darker and heavier, but you guys rode with hit anyways. ily.

Along with along with some newer stuff, this mix has some of my favorite moments from the other mixes, edited differently. For the time being, I’m leaving the continuation of Lovestep open ended. I thought about X being the last one, but who knows.

As my "What if" series has continued to expand, I tried doing something new by doing a B2B set with one of my good friends @noyezmusic . 

On 7/4/2020, we played this set for Sizzle Day 2. In an attempt to represent both of our DJing styles, we tried our best to mix both soft and hard EDM together. By listening to this set, you'll either be crying from being sad or headbanging too hard. In the future, I hope to do more B2B/collabs with other artists. Be on the lookout!!!
