A dear friend of the festival, whose musical craftsmanship leaves us in awe every time. In June, he guided the Above Below audience through dusk, with a blissful live set, a welcomed embrace, as we prepared for one final night of dancing.   

Hame has gifted us a number of warm, deep, unreleased tracks in this new mix, and we can all share excitement for their release throughout the course of 2024.

Kicking off the year under the best auspices, here comes a threat of a mix from German producer Vril. Known for his nostalgia-soaked strain of big-room techno and impeccably textured audio trips, the Giegling and Delsin stalwart lays down a proper magnetic hour-and-a-half of floor-focussed dynamics, packing the very type of steel-clad punch and vaporous atmospheres we enjoy so much here at RYC. A perfect start to the new year, Vril’s ever minutely engineered mix of hot-tempered grooves and deep cinematic immersion will have you both zoning out and sweating off all that extra fat put on during the holiday, while setting your sight onto the next revolution with the poise and heartiness to achieve your goals in 2024 and beyond. Hailing from Germany and now based in Portugal, @vril_01 has in recent years been quietly producing and performing some truly extraordinary electronic music. Going from strength to strength, he takes dancefloors on vivid, compelling journeys across Europe and beyond.

Patterns of Perception 121 takes us back to a very special live ambient set .VRIL performed at @nachtdigital MINT 2019, an immersive hour of lucid textures and swelling intensity.

Vera Logdanidi's journey in the music industry began as a DJ in Kyiv, Ukraine during the mid-2000s. Since then, she has made significant strides as a producer, with her music finding a home on esteemed labels such as Rhythm Büro, Semantica Records, On Board Music, Dial Records, Corridor Audio and Secuencias Temporales. Her solo and collaborative tracks have received remix treatments from artists including Eric Cloutier, Artefakt, and Svreca. Moreover, her experiments in collaborations have led to joint live performances with Ukrainian producer Na Nich.
Apart of producing her own music, Vera frequently tours both domestically and internationally. Her wide range of music allows her to express her vision to both small and large crowds. Her sets have reverberated through iconic venues including Bassiani, Panorama Bar, Tresor, Closer, ∄ and other venues. Her name frequently graces the lineups of esteemed festivals, including Monument Festival, Ickra, Strichka, Brave Factory Festival, Up To Date Festival and many others. These diverse platforms have provided her the freedom to show different musical styles, ranging from powerful, groovy or mental techno to experiments with music on the verge of house, ambient and occasionally delve into jungle, which holds a special place in her musical journey. Aside from producing and touring she is co-running Rhythm Büro events. One of the most unique events produced by Rhythm Büro is the Natura festival, which takes place once a year in a remote location outside Ukraine’s capital. Despite the event's secrecy, remoteness, and limited promotion, Natura attracts over 4,000 guests each year, with early-bird tickets selling out within the first hour of the event's announcement.

After my slot i was really in hurry to bring my recordbag back to my car cause i didn't want to miss any second of her set. I think I only needed 5 minutes to came back to the floor.

We are very excited to share Theef’s perception of Far Blue with you today. After years of work on these productions, he has now compiled an almost 3 hour long mix of his original and unreleased works.

‘Temporal Futures’ drifts through the shadows of time, weaving together fleeting moments of light and darkness. Each track is a glimpse into distant dreamscapes—some soft and ethereal, others pulsing with mystery and edge. From the depths of ambient oceans to the glow of cosmic dancefloors, Temporal Futures unfolds like a journey across forgotten timelines and fictional realities.

“This mixtape came to life while I was back on my island, Crete—a place where time feels slower, yet the landscape constantly shifts around you. The sound of the sea, the wind across the mountains, and the endless open skies seeped into the process. Crete's nature has a way of blending brightness with a sense of the unknown, so I tried to reflect that duality in the music. Some tracks echo the stillness of quiet nights by the water, while others capture the pulse of walking through old city streets or the wildness of the island’s more quiet and forgotten corners.”
