Recording of the set I did last weekend at the legendary Tresor in Berlin. Had a great time hanging out with the BCR and Tresor crew, all the friends that came over, a lot of them from Rotterdam and of course the amazing crowd. Other artists that were playing on the same night were Joseph McGeechan, Monya, Ad.Lib and Chris Page. Great sets all night long! Thanks everybody for a night to remember! 'I've kept this mix really close to what i believe in, which is groovy uptempo high energy techno. As i always search for sounds i feel are connected to my roots i’ve tried to keep this set very clean and rhythmic on a consistent basis.'


MARRØN is always trying to exceed the limits of himself and the crowd, with his fast but extremely rhythmic sound driven by his roots. Highly inspired by the powerful and strong-willed Marrons who freed themselves from slavery to live freely in the primeval forest of Surinam.
Starting his musical evolution with Afro Deep, characterized by its African beats and used 
these elements to connect with techno music.

The freedom and diversity of techno persuaded him to really dig into the underground scene and create a name of his own. This sound contains African groove and a powerful but atmospheric techno sound with which he aims to hypnotize the crowd to stay on the dancefloor for hours.

MARRØN is co-founder and resident of the fast growing underground movement named Eerste Communie based in Amsterdam. It’s save to say that the growth and recognition of MARRØN as a dj has alot to do with the NDYUKA PODCAST serie, where he emphasizes to drop a serie of podcasts with pure club dancefloor techno.
