Since “Narimasu” EP released last year by label USI KUVO (Tokyo), Tokyo based producer DJ/Producer WRACK has been seeking to make Japanese-style club music. As for the first release on the label, WRACK combines genres like GQOM and GORGE with this 4-track EP album ”Hotto Kotto”, which is also keeping his Japanese scale style and iconic sound on club music description.

WRACK had released many bangers by albums/V.A with labels in recent years, such as NAAFI, Eco Futurism Corporation, Club Late Music, Oxyorange, Absurd TRAX, CyberSonicLA, Babel Records. He also organized club party CHEMICAL MONSTERS in Tokyo which invited NAAFI's Imaabs, Lao, Zutzut, Fausto Bahia, Mexican Jihad, STAYCORE's Dinamarca, Mechatok, Intruder Alert's B.YHZZ etc.

Como segunda invitada de nuestra seria de mixes tenemos el honor de presentarles a @paltamango ; Dj y productora residente de Valparaíso, Chile. Codirige el sello Cartajena Ink y es parte del proyecto Pelícano Turbo. 2024, en donde nos comparte sus últimas exploraciones dentro de la música electrónica.

Paltamango nos presenta un mix con una selecta dirigida a un vórtice de baile, polirritmia e hipnosis. El mix incluye algunas de sus producciones favoritas del último tiempo, un ejercicio híbrido y trancero entre diferentes géneros.

Paltamango

We are pleased to welcome back syntrovert, a producer hailing from Valparaíso, Chile, with the full release of their EP Pathfinder. After debuting on Terminal with the single Hope Recover, this new 4-track work delves even deeper into the creative process, capturing each stage from the initial spark to the challenges and external influences that shape the final result.

The opening track, Hope Recover, sets the tone for the EP, blending tribal house, club, and bass with subtle harmonies and expansive atmospheres inspired by colour bass and trance. Anchored by a melodic piano, the piece navigates through the phases of creative thought, tracing the ebb and flow of ideas within a sonic fantasy.

The EP follows this path, with each track connecting through a shared collection of samples, offering a cohesive sonic landscape that reflects both the artist's life and the evolution of the music itself. Pathfinder moves between the abstract and the visceral, serving as a meditation on the impact of trends within the global music community. Throughout the EP, a subaquatic fantasy unfolds: vibrant ecosystems emerging from the depths, teetering on the edge of the abyss, offering an immersive and expansive sonic experience.

The journey doesn’t end here: Pathfinder expands with key remixes that add new layers to the original work. Fellow Valparaíso producer paltamango delivers a remix that deepens the bass and percussive elements. Sarah Farina brings her RainbowBass vision into futuristic realms, while Peder Mannerfelt twists the track into more physical, industrial territory, deconstructing techno’s structures with his unmistakable angular approach, creating something both cerebral and visceral.

Pathfinder is a statement of intent, an EP that invites you to dive into a universe where musical creation and imagination meet on the edge of the unknown.

VLZQUES \[Velázquez] je umělecké jméno DJe, hudebního kurátora a šéfredaktora Krištofa Budkeho, zakladatele webmagazínu Swine Daily ([https://swinedaily.com/](https://swinedaily.com/)). Od práce jako rapový A\&R manažer v Universal Music Slovakia až po jeho oddanost undergroundovým umělcům z celého světa je známý svým širokým hudebním záběrem.

Jeho hudební výběr (inspirovaný pobytem ve Španělsku, Argentině nebo Brazílii) je typický experimentální avantgardní klubovou hudbou z Latinské Ameriky; je plný alternativního reggaetonu, dembow, RKT a zkreslených subžánrů baile funku. Julio Sosa, known as DJ SOSA RD, is a Dominican artist born in 1988 who has excelled at the intersection of installation and audiovisual art, music production, and DJ sets. He started his career in 2006 in Santo Domingo and in 2013 moved to Spain to complete a master's degree in Visual and Multimedia Arts. Through his music, he has successfully fused rave and subversive culture with the political ambiance of techno and Caribbean rhythms, creating a unique context of irony, harmony, and cultural diversity. His works have been distributed under labels in various countries and he has presented mixes on internationally recognized platforms such as NTS and Dublab and Keep Hush, in addition to performing in events for collectives such as Cotch (London), Promesses (Paris) and being a regular at the Fuego events in Razzmattazz and Polyglot (both in Barcelona).
