Mayur’s teenage love for Drum & bass music got him to create his Bass Face MOSILLATOR. Blending organic and electronic influences into something really special.

It started out as a sound design session as I looking to make some dance floor basses, but soon enough turned into something much more cinematic and epic! Ape Suit's album is a winter endeavour created in solitude. It's a compilation of 135bpm bass and rhythm explorations. These were composed during the corona pandemic in Sydney, Australia. That is reflected in the minimalist compositions and the mood of the project.

Lacuna's rebirth as a producer is marked by the Transmute EP. Since his last album, Skeng, he has been delving further into sound design and attempting to be more expressive in his hip hop-inspired bass music. Following the covid shutdown, he travelled all around India, from mountains to oceans, which helped him carve out greater sophistication in both his music and himself.

He claims, "My method has gotten slower and deeper, with a strong connection to what I'm trying to achieve musically and the surroundings I'm in. The Transmute EP rhythms began in the mountains, concluded near the coast, and now that I'm back in the mountains, I'm ready to share them with everyone."

Chandigarh Music Producer and DJ, Mihir Raini aka Lacuna brings to the table an original style incorporating clever sound design with bad beats and big bass. 

Borrowing from Hip-Hop and Bass culture, Lacuna carves out his spot as India’s most notable rising star as he gains the attention of The Wild City and Bangin’ Beats with his releases being played across India’s club and festival scene including NH7 Weekender, Ziro Festival, Bass Camp Festival and Boxout Weekender and has shared stages with a number of international artists including Daedelus, Compa, and Loefah to name a few.
