Sobetek means tomar la raíz del folclore atlántico colombiano y lanzarla de lleno a las pistas más futuristas de la electrónica.

El disco se siente como un viaje entre lo ancestral y lo vanguardista. Por un lado, resuenan los tambores de la costa, los coros callejeros y las texturas orgánicas que evocan el calor caribeño; por el otro, sintetizadores filosos, bajos contundentes y drops diseñados para incendiar festivales de verano. El resultado es un híbrido explosivo que respira tanto tradición como modernidad.

Vadicion is a Montreal-based producer, sound engineer and DJ that has been shaping a
unique sonic identity in a blend of relentless saturated rhythms and intricate textures.
Currently studying sound technologies and electroacoustic, they draw on academic
knowledge to craft tracks that merge peak-time club energy with experimental sound
design. Active in Montréal’s local club and rave scene, their work bridges deconstructed
global club sounds, hyperpop, trance, breaks, and electroacoustic techniques, all tied
together by their distinctive voice.

ABOUT SUB TRIPPING

Sub Tripping is a 4-track surge where Montréal’s rave energy collides with underground
Latin club heat: it&#39;s raw, hybrid, and designed to cut through any floor. “Dame un shot y ya!”
kicks the door with lush vocals delivered by @defolks over deconstructed Latin club;
“Alegría” is an ecstatic burner that popifies uwuaracha; “Way2Cold” straps latincore grit to
Montréal&#39;s very own MC @sirlouie555 and “Blood” closes with dark, intense rave energy,
layering experimental textures over scorched drums and warped synths. This EP was made
to connect scenes and ignite new ears with fresh sounds.
