Wolf Music, the seasoned house music appreciators, are back on the gas pedal again. With Ishmael and Black Fan showing face on April's white label and Frits Wentink's Rarely Pure, Never Simple album a month before, they prep their next course. Wolf grad, Medlar, makes a colourful return to the fore with WOLFEP030 — a first project since his debut album, Sleep.

Flakes of jazz are kneaded in at different points throughout; a dribble of sax here, piano runs galore elsewhere ("Dawn Chorus"). Yet it's "Paradise" and it's alluringly cyclical drive that makes it first pick. A truly harmonious affair: yearning string solos, trundling conga/bongos underfoot and even birdsong at the tail end. The video is just as blissful in all its black and white, zoological glory.

Just as Mother Nature would have wanted it. Out on 5th October 2015.

I dug deeply into the Sonor Music arsenal to pick and mix some forgotten beauties from the golden era of italian soundtracks and library music. Many of these Maestros are true musical heroes for me, inspired my works and influenced my taste in music consistently. Some are less known but really worth rediscovering in my humble opionion. Many decades after the first release still sounds so fresh! and in most cases ahead of that time! The mix start funkier while is low on tempo, than became jazzier and faster, the last part reflect my love for bossanova and mood painting.

Since its inception, resident tastemakers Baloo, Bolts, Danuka and Yadava have put on monthly shows from up-and-comers like Werkha and Letherette; big-hitters Amir, Andres, and Alexander Nut; and even the Godfather himself, Gilles Peterson, who came to celebrate SF’s first birthday celebrations a year ago. Such diverse bookings keep the So Flute team standing out from the crowd. By assembling such a strong cast of boundary-pushing crate-diggers, brought in for their nous rather than their name, the shows retain a relaxed vibe that keeps fans coming back for more every month, rather than chasing numbers."
