After the success of PHANEROSPHENE – part I, SOUL MACHINE finally reveals PHANEROSPHENE – part II, sequel and end of his electronic poem.

Along this second chapter, the artist unveils a darker side of his universe and offers a more melancholic and intimist ensemble but still timeless and melodic.

As for the remixers, the French producer put out all the stops. Access Denied (half-You Killing Me), Kn1ght, Mac Stanton and, tasty surprise, Superfunk, the French Touch legends, joined the artist on his melodic starship. This epilog is also the occasion to discover the second part of the cover painted by the incredible Jeff Hopp, a worldwide known psychedelic artist from Arizona. The entire painting will soon be revealed as the same time as a vinyl edition gathering the two EPs.

Close your eyes and let yourself, a last time, be carried away from the depth of mind to the outer limits of space!

Après le succès de PHANEROSPHENE - part I, SOUL MACHINE nous révèle enfin PHANEROSPHENE - part II, suite et fin de son poème électronique.

Au travers de ce second chapitre, l’artiste dévoile une facette plus sombre de son univers et clôture magistralement son œuvre par un ensemble plus mélancolique, intimiste mais toujours aussi mélodique et intemporel.

Coté remixeurs, le producteur français sort le grand jeu, Access Denied (moitié de You Killing Me), Kn1ght, Mac Stanton et, surprise de taille, Superfunk, véritables légendes de la French Touch ont, en effet, rejoint l’artiste à bord de son vaisseau spatial. Cet épilogue est enfin l’occasion de découvrir la seconde partie de la couverture peinte par l’incroyable Jeff Hopp, artiste psychédélique d’Arizona mondialement reconnu. L’œuvre intégrale du peintre sera présentée prochainement à l’occasion d’une édition vinyle du Double EP.

So French Records presents the brand new release from new talented US artist Matthew Bauer, entitled 'Night Demons' Lp. A dark synthwave album gathering 7 orginal tracks. An amazing LP based on the horror movie anthems from the 80's driven by maestro 'John Carpenter'! Matthew Bauer' music is taking these influences into the early 80's and reminds us of Kavinsky's touch!

Matthew Bauer is a composer, artist, and art director based out of Los Angeles. His music is a mixture of his influences: horror movies, French Touch music, 80's synth pop, and death metal. Drawing from his film idols John Carpenter, Stanley Kubrick, David Cronenberg ,and Jean Rollin among others Matthew seeks to create his own catalogue of imagined films through soundtracks to films not yet made.

Album Story:

"Is he man or is he a monster? By day he is a normal man with a normal job. But at night something strange is dwelling inside him. Every morning he awakens to gruesome thoughts seemingly implanted into him from nowhere. As the banal days drag on he can't help wondering what is happening every night he goes to sleep. Morbid stories in the news sound far too familiar. As time unravels so does he as the evidence becomes more and more tangled. Who is he really? Listen for yourself and see if you can decide." An epic release to get for your synthwave collection! The famous blog 'Drive Audio' who premiered the album on his radion said about the album: 'This is an epic Slasher/Horrorwave Album!'
