SOFT GRID 
In an abandoned hospital ward in 2014, Jana and Theresa penned the opening sketches of an EP that would eventually become Soft Grid’s debut Stingrays (Cassette, Twaague, 2015, sold-out). The resulting layered synths, reminiscent of krauty psychedelia, were supported for early live dates by drummer and producer Sam. The sound subsequently developed into Soft Grid as it is today - its reinforced rhythm section, and highly effected vocal aesthetic pouring eclectic references through an extended live show.

After extensive performing in early 2016, Soft Grid returned to the studio to record the live show they’ve been playing for the last months, a 37 minute long navigation through big hooks, extended ambience and heavy synth breakdowns.

10 The Anomaly SNIPPET

Das Opening für einen Abend zu spielen, war für mich eine ganz besondere Herausforderung. Aus diesem Grund habe ich versucht mit diesem Set eine kleine Reise zu erschaffen, die ein bisschen die Geschichte einer Clubnacht mit all seinen Facetten erzählt. Angefangen mit eher deepen Melodien mit 102 Bpm zum ankommen und träumen, bin ich mit der Zeit bis auf eher härtere 109 Bpm hochgeklettert. Es war wirklich unglaublich toll zu sehen und auch zu spüren wie viel Energie ihr alle mit mir dabei auf der Tanzfläche gelassen habt.

Danke noch einmal allen Tänzern, bekannten und auch neuen Gesichtern die mir im Laufe des Sets ein immer größeres Lächeln übers Gesicht gezaubert haben, dass ich den restlichen Abend nicht mehr losgeworden bin.

Auch vielen Dank an die Sorgenlos Crew und ihr Vertrauen darin mir diesen Slot zu geben, welcher nicht besser hätte zu meiner Musik passen können.

Ganz viel Spaß beim Nachhören und ich freue mich über Feedback :)
