We were fans of beats and instrumental hip hop long before we started Soft Focus. We have spent a lot of time discovering producers around the world. Beat scene in the states is well known, but for us it was also guys in Japan, Germany and the Netherlands for example.

This time we handed guest mix duties to Baltimore. Flow Fi member eu-IV took as back to those dusty, gritty, sample based beats. That got Ink digging some of his old favorites. But if you're fan of that new wave, that modern stuff, no worries, you can hear those sounds in this episode too.

He recorded his all vinyl set in a record store on a record store day. 

Mohammed Uraibi Abood (aka DJ MoCity) is a music entrepreneur and DJ with a passion for authentic music from all around the world. Since his early days as a hip-hop loving teenager in New Delhi, Mohammed has grown into a highly experienced and respected musical tastemaker whose personal choices and interests have illuminated the way for thousands more to follow. His dedication to his vision and unmatched effort towards realising it have made him a key figure in the development of the independent music scene in India and Dubai.

Here it is. The last Soft Focus Radio show for now.

After five years it feels that we have done a lot. When we first started the show, we didn't have any goals or even plans, but this took us quite far. Because of the show we have landed gigs around the world, which is kind of crazy.

Big thank you to our listeners, thank you for all the feedback, it was a pleasure to do this for you, for a reason.
