Where did you record this mix and what did you have in mind while recording it?
"I recorded this mix in my living room, thinking of the past half year we just had. The set feels to me like a mix of tension and relief, like the difficult journey we all just led to finally get to summer."

How would you describe your sound in general?
"Hmm that's always a hard one.. I'd describe my sound as eclectic, sometimes chaotic, always emotional."

What are you looking forward to the most this year?
"Nation of Gondwana ! Can't wait to be djing outside again. And I have been working on my first release that will likely come out this year too."

As the new year arrives, we are filled with hope for a fresh start and the desire to make this year even better than the last. To kick off our podcast series in 2023, we are thrilled to have our friends from Super Sound Global join us and showcase some of their favorite picks.

Super Sound Global is a trio of friends, who developed their passion for digging and collecting records in their hometown near Lake Ammer in southern Germany. Since then they launched a YouTube channel and and a monthly radio show at Munich’s renowned @radio80000, in order to share their latest discoveries of forgotten balearic treasures.

For Loser Records the trio has curated a special selection of dance floor oriented uptempo tunes, featuring late 90s, early 2000-style trance, prog house, some recent releases and maybe, just maybe, one unreleased production of their own.

We say thank you for this wonderful contribution to our podcast series and hope you keep on digging to find those hidden gems in records stores around the world.

With a wide range of efforts to create more safer spaces, conversations and networking opportunities for FLINTA* artists, as well as to support and build communities.

OLIV is a music lover and explorer at heart. For several years she has been turning knobs and records - always varying between different genres such as Experimental, HipHop, House, Breakbeat, Electro and Bass. She has already played in various clubs in Germany as well as in London and Amsterdam. Besides various radio mixes, including Refuge Worldwide, Dublab Brazil, NTS and Rinse France, she also hosts her own bi-monthly radio show linger for a moment on Callshop Radio.

This Mix starts with relaxed Downtempo vibes and over groovy and permissive House dives into some Electro. So it oscillates between different genres without losing the loose yet dynamic mode
