Another amazing collaboration with Angela!

Another Time (feat. Angela Yen)

My first collaboration with the very talented singer, Josephine Choi, who wrote her own lyrics and even provided the cover art for this song. As we are both big fans of Portishead, the original idea was to create a trip-hop song. What we ended up is not quite a typical 90s trip-hop, but I think we still ended up with something interesting.

The song was made using Ableton Live with various Korg VSTs. The only sample used in this song was the percussion sound layered on top the drums, which was taken out of “The Unforgiving Desert” from a classic and one of my favourite SNES games, Earthbound.
