Yooth started off his career in the midst of the future beats hype, but has been on the lookout for emerging genres from the southern hemisphere since 2013. CITIZEN BOY says “The reason why I chose this song is because my mom is a Missy Elliott fan, she used to play ‘4 My People’ and ‘Hot Boyz’ a lot when I was young, so when they told me I can choose any song from Missy Elliott’s production these songs were the first to came to mind because I was very familiar with them.”
