“Infrasound” is low-frequency sound, lower in frequency than 20 Hz aka the normal limit of human hearing. Infrasound is characterized by an ability to cover long distances and get around obstacles with little dissipation. Obstacles like walls, haters, self-doubt, and the broken system.

This entry in the Infrasound mix series is cut by @marion-muthiani aka nowisgood, we gave her an open ended request to make whatever she feels and in this case we get dark introspective vibes with a bit of a edge. When asked about the title, she said "Honestly if you’ve watched barbie you’ll know,  have you seen the scene where she says do you guys ever think about dying?" We were totally floored by this mix, hope you all enjoy!

Eritrean-American DJ, producer and all-around creative Eden Hagos brings visibility to those future sounds that you can’t quite put your finger on. Deeply rooted in underground hip-hop, sample-based, percussion-heavy tunes, and future bass, Eden’s ear for unique sounds has kept her digging since her uncle gave her her first Fugees album at age 16.  

Eden has dropped 20+ mix-tapes - the third installation, "Currently", caught the attention of OkayPlayer deeming the young beatstress "a prophet of future sounds". The beat scene and local producers started listening and partnerships with artists, labels, and connectors in the community became plentiful.  

Miss Hagos's love for creative culture has led to opportunities to perform at underground clubs, international festivals, and celebrity and fashion events alike. She has opened for Snakehips, Anderson. Paak, Jmsn, Syd tha Kid, Tokimonsta, Sango, and Goldlink just to name a few. 

 Eden is poised to bring light to the beatmakers in this movement while uncovering and educating folks along the way of all of the genres that exist within these future sounds.

Yo yo what's happening? We're firmly in the spring now innit, and boy do the nice days feel nice. This time round is a mix I recorded in Prosepect Park, NYC with some friends around. Recorded a visual but youtube's a hater, so that might go up later.
