RadiOzora’s very own music editor, resident of Ozora's One-Day-In procession, DJ Tsubi on his set @ Main Stage, O.Z.OR.A.: “In January I had the chance to play in Japan at Ozora Festival's One Day in Tokyo party. The club, the crowd and the hospitality was awesome so it’s a very nice memory for me. Also it was a great honour to share the stage with such great artists as DJ Hatta, DJ Wegha, Justin Chaos, Spectra Sonics, Earthling and Tristan. Since I wasn’t satisfied with the recording of my set, I decided to record it again. I made some changes to it, but it's still nearly the same set I played at the party. Hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.”

Tsubi's talents were obvious from the first time he stepped on the stage. Started his illustrious career in the late nineties when he quickly gained notorietly as being on of the leading morning dj's. Having played over the years with some of the legends of the trance scene, Tsubi thus built hi reputation as a DJ who is known to match any international top act.

When it comes to diversity there is absolutely no matching Tsubi which comes from his enormous collection of electronic and alternative music ranging from Nine Inch Nails to Hallucinogen.

Tsubi has been a regular at the O.Z.O.R.A. Festival playing on the main stage every year which led him to Full Moon, Glade, Sonica, S.U.N., India, Brazil, Israel and Japan.

DJ TSUBI – One Day in Tokyo 2016 Main Stage

sG4rY is an anthropologist, movie maker, freelance-writer, general adventurist and Psytrance-DJ from Bavaria, currently residing in its beautiful capital Munich. He represents the labels Sangoma Records as well as Purple Hexagon Records with his side project Brot3rys together with DJ Merry.

His heavy itchy feet syndrom, his taste in a wide range of styles in Psychedelic Trance and the lust for encountering new like minded psychonauts has led him to perform at events such as Antaris Project (Germany) , Hilltop New Years Eve (Goa/India), Momento Demento Festival (Croatia), Kosmos Festival (Finland), Universal Religion (Nepal), Trimurti Festival (Russia), Waldfrieden Wonderland Festival (Germany), Yaga Gathering (Lithuania) and countless other events around Austria, Cambodia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Greece, India, Italy, Lithuania, Malaysia, Nepal, Russia, Slovakia, South Africa, Switzerland, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey and the Netherlands.
Not being caught in one style or direction, he is constantly trying to discover and fuse different varieties of psychedelic music with the aim of overcoming musical boundaries that had been created in people’s minds due to the musical fragmentation happening nowadays in the Psychedelic Trance Movement. Creating a journey sui generis for his listeners is his biggest aspiration. Psychedelic Trance has to be approached from different angles, using the many colorful vibrations it offers. Therefore, sG4rY likes to play sets as long as possible in order to draw from the different musical influences he gets from befriended artists, musicians and freaks around the globe. Nightly journeys that dissolve towards the first glimpses of the new day as well as sending the crowd into the night with a powerful kick off, or even sunny variations with non-cheesy hypnotic daytime trance are all part of his repertoire. He loves that special energy during sunrise and sunset on the dancefloor and tries to use it for involving the crowd into a flow of certain feelings and sensations, sometimes humorous, sometimes gloomy or filled with deep emotions. His numerous various artist releases over the years on different labels mirror this passion for musical variety and expression.

sG4rY furthermore decided together with his Brother-from-anotha-Motha DJ Merry:) to launch a DJ-project called Brotherys. Since 2010, they play their mixture of of powerful, deep and groovy Night Stuff and lysergical Forest Sounds for dancefloors around the globe and have compiled both Brotherys Balderdash Compilation, released on Purple Hexagon Records.

Next to his involvement in the two labels Sangoma Records and Purple Hexagon Records, sG4rY is also an active part of the Gaggalacka Festival, which will celebrate its 15th anniversary in the late summer of 2016.

Sangoma Records is back with Greece descent London-based duo INGRAINED INSTINCTS. This 9th edition is a special two-in-one show: their set made exclusively for radiOzora also has its place in the ‘On the Way to Ozora 2016’ series, because they’re playing on the Ozorian Main Stage this August. Ingrained Instincts is a unique project consisting of Tilemachos Vlachos, and Dafy Deliangelos, originally from Greece, but residing in London. Both have shared the same passion for Psychedelic music since their very early days. They met in 2001, formed a project together, and started to develop a different sound, but one totally sympathetic to the scene, and yet wholly psychedelic, and funky!
After many years of experimentation, the Ingrained Instincts project was born. Their sound could be described as an amalgamation of many variations which don’t fit in one box – definitely different and organic sounding. For their production they use analogue as well as digital hardware, and are about to build their own modular system. Tilemachos also has a downtempo project called “Escape Velocity”, with releases on Spiral Trax, and Eardream Music amongst other labels. Ingrained Instincts so far released on Goa Productions, BMSS and are now signed with Sangoma Records.
This is one project you have to keep an ear out for, because before you know it you’ll be dancing away. Uncontrollably! It’s infectious.

Back To Mars at MoDem Main Floor 2016

Sangoma Records series continues with an exclusive mix by COSINUS including his freshest tunes.

Cosinus was born in Germany 1979 and currently living in Biel, Switzerland. Michael discovered the world of electronic music at the age of 13 and was inspired by artist like Yello, Kraftwerk and the sounds of Detroit techno and house music. His first steps in his DJ career started behind a pair of turntables at a local youth club in his hometown. After 20 years of rocking dancefloors with his energetic sets he put his focus now on his own musical creations that he plays in his livesets (and occasional DJ sets). Cosinus is signed to Sangoma Records and released tracks on labels such as Woodog Records, Macky Mad House Records, Subsystem Records,Forestdelic Records to name just a few. In 2015 he released his first EP “Mudulated Frequencies” and compiled Ironic Creatures and Ironic Cultures with DJ Izzy on Sangoma. So far he played in Germany, Austria, USA, Switzerland and the Netherlands. His sound can be described as epic pumping, jumping and snarling forest psytrance – a fusion between nighttime psychedelic and deep forest friendly atmospheres. His story fits perfectly to the early hours of the morning as well as the middle of the night – powerful music to tune on heads. An artist that shouldn’t be missed at any party.

Gaspard is older than the internet! His musical journey started with punk and metal, both of which remain predominant forces in his life.
He first stumbled upon electronic music back in the early ‘90s, when Eat Static blew his mind at the Paradiso, Amsterdam. From that moment the “psy switch” was flicked on and there was no looking back! He started dj-ing in 1996, and the rest is well…history..
In 2003, Peak Records was born, co-founded by Gaspard and friends Ajja S.F.Leu, Tanina Munchkina and Master Margherita. Gaspard compiled 7 of the label’s 9 Psy Trance compilations, in what has been described as ‘Swiss anti-cheese psychedelic style’!
In 2004 Ajja and Gaspard teamed up to form YabYum. Their first album “Nocturnal Emissions” (2006) is still a favourite with many-a freak. Their tracks are in constant demand with releases on international labels across the globe. The duo have recently revitalized the project and are set to build on their already sterling reputation.
In 2010, after a brief break from the music scene, Gaspard turned his attention to the solo project. His debut EP, « Abra Kada Bom » was released in 2013 on Subsystem Records. The feedback has been overwhelming with a style best descrided as “hectic psytrance with a sense of humour.” His first solo album, “Seems Legit” saw the light in May 2014 on Sangoma Records. Still riding the humorous side of psy, his tracks have been poping up here and there on various VAs all through 2014 and 2015. A committed family man, dedicated producer, and all round psychedelic character: Gaspard has plenty to keep himself busy with over the coming months and years!

Sangoma Records presents its 17th edition by finnish couple MIAZU AND POLLY.

Polly & Miazu are a long time soulmates and a dj couple from Helsinki, Finland, whose sets are known to burst energies and blend styles into a huge positive vibe trancedance experience for the dancefloor. Miazu’s beautiful and melodic selections blended with Polly’s rough and energetic sounds create a unique mix of gentle raw energy of psychedelia with tones of shady foresty audioscapes. There has not been single boring gig with them as their sets get in to the flow and let dance unite us!
Miazu & Polly are a pioneering couple on Finnish psy trance scene and culture, having played, created amazing events and brought some of the biggest names in global underground psy music scene to Finland since 2005. Under the name People of the Butterflies crew, founded in 2007, they organise events and festivals and release free albums and compilations. They’ve also been one of the Finnish emissaries of psy music, having played internationally on most of the established European festivals, among them Fullmoon Festival and Antaris project.

Sangoma Records series continues with REZONANT a.k.a. Middle Mode from Serbia.

Rezonant is a project initialized by Jovan Tot, aka Middle Mode/ Sufißs life from Serbia. From early beginning he was attracted by hard beats (rock, psychedelic rock, etc..) and started his career as a Psytrance dj in Serbia. He spent 10 years on learning, creating proper sounds and technique, and in 2010 founded the project Middle Mode with his partner Ivan Jovicic. But soon after he discovered a passion for deeper and more psychedelic sounds. In 2016 the project Rezonant was born, fueled by twilight, complex synthesis, acid trippy sounds and groovy atmospheres, which brings you closer to your inner self. His first release was collaboration with Macedonian artist Djantrix released on Digital Om Production. Soon after he was signed exclusively to the Sangoma family where he’s busy working to bring you a new wave of aural psychedelica.

It’s time for the sixth edition of Mo:Dem Festival and in the year 2017. the biggest novelty is our new concept with three musical stages. Here we present you the sounds of The Hive. In the past editions, this stage was called Main. We consider that today it's totally inappropriate to divide musical genres on 'main' and 'alternative'. However new name doesn't change the fact that The Hive is the nucleus of Mo:Dem Festival. The place where nature, art, creativity, technology and the spirits of the forest meet to create ultimate dance space. The Hive will host a wide range of top quality underground psychedelic artists from around the world delivering some of the finest sounds of the past and present, and showcasing some of the new fresh and unheard sounds of the future. For long, humans have been closely associated with Felines. In Ancient Egypt, Cats have played an important role in shaping their history as we know it, and the pineal gland appears to play a major role in the hibernation of animals and seasonal breeding. 

In some lower vertebrates the pineal gland has a well-developed eye-like structure and it functions as a light receptor and could be considered the evolutionary forerunner of the modern eye. The results of various scientific research have explained the phylogeny of the pineal gland in different vertebrate species. From the point of view of biological evolution, the pineal gland represents a kind of atrophied photoreceptor. In the epithalamus of some species of amphibians and reptiles, it is linked to a light-sensing organ, known as the parietal eye, which is also called the third eye.

FUNGUS FUNK is back Sangoma Records series with the 2nd part of his Audiopills series.

Fungus Funk is Sergei Prilepa, an established psychedelic trance musician from Moscow, Russia. Sergei started producing psytrance in 1998, and he has been releasing music since 2001. Over the past 15 years, Fungus Funk has put out his compilation tracks on numerous other labels. To his credit are four well-received full length albums: ‘F-People’ (2006) on Acidance, ‘Vostok 1’ (2008) together with Samadhi on Blitz Studios, ‘Electric Grooves’ (2010) also on Blitz Studios, and ‘Kremlin Gremlin’ (2012) on his own label Unlimited Music. Additionally, Sergei also released four acclaimed EPs. Fungus Funk’s sound is not easy to define as it incorporates features from different sub-genres of psytrance and generally tends to change from album to album. Regardless of which version of Fungus Funk you get to experience, it is guaranteed to be full of fat well defined basslines, powerful psychedelic leads, and top-notch sequencing. Courtesy of his productive musical output and subsequent popularity in the international psytrance scene, Fungus Funk regularly travels the globe and plays his live and DJ sets at various dance music events. Among some of the bigger festivals he has appeared at are the well-known Boom Festival (Portugal), O.Z.O.R.A. Festival, Sonica (Italy), Antaris (Germany), Transcendence (Brazil), and Hadra (France) among others.
