"Dual Delay" into two "Junior Blues" amps, Stereo "1x15 Thunderbolt" Cab, and a touch of compressor ("Studio").

The RIGHT TIME RATIO is set to 61.2%  (1/1.618)

Guitar is a Kiesel Vader 6, played with my pinky on the volume knob.

Recorded direct into Logic with no post processing.

Golden Dual Delays

Here is a very basic dual delay: 1/8, plus dotted 8th. I added a little cross-feedback, but I've got R TIME OFFSET at 99.2% so they don't stack too precisely. That's probably about as good as you could get in the days before TEMPO sync'd effects. Don't be too perfect!

Because we're talking about vintage digital, I've set BIT REDUCTION to 11. I know, I know... who ever heard of a 13-bit effect? But with the Axe-Fx, YOU decide what you like. I let the last tail ring so you can hear the grit. Remember how we used to "hate" that sound? Now we tweak it back in in nostalgic appreciation! The EQ of the delay is set to taste with some high cut, low cut, and a little bump  at 2.6k.

I'm playing a Les Paul Jr. (P90s) into two "Hipower" amps. You can't see it in the picture, but the preset also contains a DRIVE block (FET) and a COMPRESSOR block (PEDAL).

I programmed a cheezy lofi drum machine because I felt it was important to show how pushing/dragging into the long delay tail creates a human feel even though the drum machine and echoes are quantized.

had this idea for writing and recording a song in just 1 day and here's the result. Though it took 2 fridays to getting done. last week I wrote it and this week recorded it. The gear used in this one: ESP Horizon FR2 with EMG Pickups tuned down to B, Fractal Audio Axe FX II for one line of guitar and solo, Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier Miked with Shure SM57 and Seinheiser e609 on the other track. hope you like it :)
