his second independent album based on a view to the life and artworks of Bahman Mohassess, classical music and maqami and native music, human and Iranian mythological culture. And these works are among his compositions between 22 to 25 years old.

Voices of Mohassess are retrieved from a documentary directed by Mitra Farahani (Fifi howls from happiness, 2013) and produced by Butimar company, Fereyedoun Firooz and Marjaneh Moghimi.

Soheil Mokhberi is graduated in music from the Azad university of Tehran(Art and architecture faculty). His master was ARDESHIR KAMKAR one of the prominent masters of Kamancheh was among his masters along with Vartan Sahakian, Mohammadreza Tafazzoli and Amirmahyar Tafreshipour.

He has several years professional activity in music as well as cooperation with Iranian and non-iranian musicians, bands, albums and concerts as musician and composer, Receiving a diploma of honor and took part in different festivals since 2004 and also released his first independent album named "Dorouj", in fall 2013.

Ardeshir Kamkar Says About Him and his First Album , Dorouj :

Dorouj is in a term of our national music ,focused on Kamancheh accompanied Ghichak,In this virtu he used both Persian traditional music themes and Rhythm, Melodic and Counterpoint espressions ,Dominate sence , performing technique and emphasizing the tensile ensemble that finally created innovating masterpiece in its kind.

Proper use of audio and exact introducing of these two instruments is done really significant as its best.Soheil tried to shown the original character of Ghichak.According to this, one of the most important feature of this artwork is creative use of Ghichak’s voice range compared to Kamancheh and even its correct usage instead of Percussion.
On the other hand he bring many Rhythmic motives out of Ghichak which was kind of Dulcet harmony for this instrument .

Adequate fiddlesticking, well-timed silences, Logical positions and his firmly stable solo terms make an abstract atmosphere to his work which finally achieved to the track DOROUJ progressively .he also used some Intervals of Persian traditional music that we hadn’y have befor.

As a conclusion I wish a prosperous future for him . Meanwhile it’s a pleasure that  we have such talented ,promising and creative young musicians playing Kamancheh whom are ready to elevating Persian traditional music .
