Italian maestro Gai Barone makes his debut with 'Red Wine' 

Red Wine brings great energy and a progressive underpinning to proceedings. If anything represents Gai Barone's 'euphoric melancholy' self-styling, 'Red Wine' certainly hits that spot. Wonderful warm sustained and overdriven melodies with nuances of saturation become Gai's sound palette as he paints an aural image or rare vivacity and reflection. Ticking hi-hats and off-beat percussion keep the energy high as the sounds cascade effortlessly from their rhythmic anchor. This is clearly music borne of passion and outstanding technique.
