Aus der Ferne mischen sich alle Erfahrungen und Stimmen und bilden einen geräuschhaften Klang. Je näher man jedoch kommt, desto mehr kann man jeweils die einzelne Stimme hören.
Aus der Ferne betrachtet sehen sie ähnlich aus, aber sieht man jedoch genauer hin, gibt es individuelle Identitäten.

Here are the voices of Asian women who have shared their own experiences of racism, sexism and the model minority cliché. Every speaker plays an individual experience, narrated by the respective participants.
From a distance, all the experiences and voices are mixed together and sound like one big noise. However, the closer you go, the clearer you can recognize the single voices.
From a distance they look similar, but if you take a closer look, they have their own identities.

Born 1994 in Seoul, Korea. So-Jeong Yoo is a composer and sound artist who questions about the things that form human being and the world. She explores the unseeable but existing beings, the essence. It’s like searching for the mysterious secret force by looking into the world in an unaccustomed way. She is a member of New Music Group EON. Currently located in Freiburg, Germany, she is finding her ‘subjectivity’ for sound and art.
