This is the experimental wing of Sojourn Society called SSCTY SOUND-LAB.  In addition to our Synthpop/New Wave tendencies we have some other sounds we'd like to share. We put zero restrains on the sounds that come out. Some may be close to our "front of the house" sound...others will be like this. Hope you enjoy!

Sojourn Society is an Indie Electropop Duo from NYC whose music spans genres including Electropop, Synthopop,Trip-Hop and Electronic Avant Garde. 

Music producer and vocal instructor Tim Welch began Sojourn Society in the summer of 2012 as an Electropop/Synthpop project pushing into the sounds of the 'new-new wave' era. Over the last 2 years, the project has incorporated several musicians, and has expanded into many different types of sounds. Current core members Tim Welch and Emily Zapata continue to develop alternative chord progressions, experimental sounds and melodic hooks which make up just a few of the unique characteristics of the sound of Sojourn Society.
