Behind My Words

This is "The View From The Field", or at least my view from the field.
Back in September 2021 I was moving between places, trying to find a place to settle. One day, while walking through the beautiful Somerset countryside, I found myself on a deserted field. It was already late afternoon and, being the sunset not far away, I decided to lay my sleeping bag down on the grass and spend the night there.
It was a wonderful warm summer night, the sky was clear and I contemplated the stars in silence, listening to the occasional night creatures.
A second night followed and a third one too, until I finally put my little tent up and spent some time on the field.
As the days went by I felt more and more drawn into some different form of balance and I had the opportunity to process and express everything that I was going through in the most organic way.
I wrote these four songs during those days and I managed to record them with what I had with me. I speak about life, love and death. Moreover, I felt that I needed to examine and meditate on how everything is now contaminated by humans and there is very little space left for anything else.
I had the privilege to do so from a different perspective, far from the frantic rhythm of society.
With this little EP I want to give you a glimpse of those days.
