Approaching this set, I wanted to incorporate different things that I love about techno: 
spheric groove, percussion, hypnotic bass and a nod to trance, but most of all, the possibility to get lost in the musical narrative and dream away.
I used tracks from some of my favourite artists as well as new discoveries to create a more minimalistic but deep rave sound that develops in curves. 
Listen to the unique melodic and percussive elements within the tracks! I tried to create flowy transitions and added a few breakbeat surprises and rhythm changes to disrupt the flow.

I want to thank the best crew @sokorave for their continuous love and support, and so many amazing and inspiring experiences this year. Couldn't do it without you!

In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Institut für Bass, Percussion und Musik (BPM) musste das Amt für Genrefragen in seinem Jahresbericht „Elektronische Musik und ihre Spielarten“ feststellen, dass eine Begradigung des Fluss @____lomo nicht als sinnvoll erachtet werden kann. Zum Schutz der Genrevielfalt sowie der Renaturierung unbebasster Flächen wird sogar empfohlen das Experimentierfeld im Rahmen einer dafür angelegten Veranstaltungsfläche zu erweitern. 

Weitere Auszüge aus dem o.g. Bericht: „Das vorgelegte DJ-Set (Anlage CountDown #22) schickt Hörer*innen im Schnelldurchlauf durch eine Klubnacht und macht maximal kleine Bremsversuche zum Luftholen. Enge Absprachen mit den Nachbar*innen oder konsequentes Ignorieren der Türklingel werden beim Hören auf Lautsprecheranlagen empfohlen. Vom Ausschalten des Subwoofers wird hingegen abgeraten. […] Inspiration findet LOMO im WorldWideWeb, auf dem Dancefloor sowie im DJ-Kollektiv @sokorave, in dem Sie ihre musikalische Heimat verortet (s. Anlage 64B „Ode an die SOKO_RAVE“). 

In cooperation with the Institute for Bass, Percussion and Music (BPM), the Office for Genre Issues had to conclude in its annual report "Electronic Music and its Varieties" that a straightening of the river @____lomo cannot be considered reasonable. In order to protect the diversity of genres as well as the renaturation of non-bass areas, it is even recommended to expand the experimental field within the framework of an event area created for this purpose. 
Further excerpts from the above-mentioned report: "The presented DJ set (attachment CountDown #22) sends listeners racing through a club night and makes at most small attempt at slowing down to catch their breath. Close agreements with the neighbors or consistent ignoring of the doorbell are recommended when listening on PA systems. However, turning off the subwoofer is not recommended. [...] LOMO finds inspiration in the WorldWideWeb, on the dancefloor as well due to being part of the DJ collective SOKO_RAVE, in which she calls her artistic home (see Appendix 64B "Ode to SOKO_RAVE").
