The track that started it all! The track that got me into the idea of "Sol Tyrannis" to begin with - and with the permission of the artist, Ryan Tippery, who I took inspiration with some of his pieces way back when this was composed.

Real rough around the edges, and certainly not my first track - but this is where things started to come together for my little hobby writing tunes.

Taking you back to Friday Creek with a reinterpretation of Max's track "Pollux" done by myself - well, a rework of that remix, thus the "v2" in the title. Bring it back.

Rough framework of some unfinished but playable "remix" of Bliss' "Drop N Roll", mainly because there was a remix competition at the time and that's free real estate. This is the closest I came to writing progressive psytrance, and it was at the behest of a friend at the time under the alias of "You're Welcome". Not my idea, but that's what it's saved under. Not exactly happy with the end result, but don't say I didn't at least give it a go, poor as it could be interpreted.

"Pay Attention!" (formerly "Gimmick", "Banana Bread") came to life through being under the influence of the devil's lettuce and eating banana bread. I like the rolling energy and how it started to sound, plus reaaaaally wanted to use that Kill Paris sample (3:41) as well at some point. At the time I was also watching Cow Chop, and that 'pay attention' sample (from a video they were watching [3:32]) and the "oh shit, my bad, sorry" (from a member of Cow Chop themselves [3:34]) is where the source of that is from, and also what inspired the name change, because Sol Tyrannis was no stranger to vocal samples, let me tell you... cause I'm him.

"Lift Me Up" (formerly some variation of that) was my attempt to try 'diversify' my sound a bit, which led to a lot of overthinking and getting in my own head in that department. I will admit I was happier with earlier versions, but am still happy with the end result uploaded here today. Song name originally came from a vocal sample from Kid Cudi, removed for obvious reasons as I was intending to release the EP and not catch legal hands for samples used without permission. Only the bootlegs and unreleased tracks, cause the only money I made was from playing live sets.
