Itoh has a wide catalogue of releases on labels such as Modularz, Planet Rhythm Records, Wols, etc. He also has 3 EP’s under the name Yarda. Heavy atmospheric sounds in he his dj sets expose his artistically distinctive style and musical orientation.

“The name Binary Thoughts does speak for itself, but there is a much deeper meaning embedded in it. Where the law of "all or nothing” rules, there is no in-between as reality is always more complex and richer than our 'perception' of the world suggests.
This perception beyond the “all or nothing” connected us. At first strangers to each other – we met at a music festival in our country and after a long discussion about electronic music, we decided to embark on a journey together, and make a project that will connect our slightly different, but similar taste in electronic music.”

Ana Bogatinovska: 
My very first relation with electronic music started in 2004, but back then, I was more interested into house and electro. As a result of the crippling lack of music sources and no access to internet, I was forced to listen to the radio. As I grew up, my taste in electronic music progressively changed and I started to explore very different types and genres. I have to admit, I was under huge influence of Plastikman and my love for techno and minimal became strong, all thanks to him. Eventually, I discovered what I really liked and decided to create my first mix at the age of 17, which was a combination of minimal and techno. Since then, my horizons have truly expanded and my present mixes are quite contrary compared to the very first ones.
When it comes to music, I can never separate it from emotions. It’s always about feelings, and for me, music and feelings constitute the perfect integrity. I’m always putting all my efforts and be expressive as much as I can, so that my personality will completely reflect the music. From the depths of my soul, my thought pattern, my temper, the music that is born abounds with many different colors and bass lines. On the one hand, my dark, acid hard techno with hypnotic and psychedelic items describes my complex personality and gives me the ability to transfer my thoughts through this medium. On the other hand, the atmospheric, ambient, deep techno sounds layered with forest and calm melodies express the melancholic part of me. That’s how noise and silence collide.
In 2015, I became part of the Binary Thoughts project with my friend Jovana. We have huge plans for the future, more precisely, to create our unique blend of exquisite sounds and produce on our own.

Jovana Gjorgievska: 
My first contact with electronic music was from an OST form a video game. It was the intro to the game – I remember shutting down my game console and turning in on, just to hear it again. It became a part of me, like I embodied the sound. Ever since then, it’s been a long road throughout various music genres, but nothing felt as understandable as electronic music. I always observed the world around me as complex systems of patterns, evolving over time. I felt attracted to those repetitive patterns which I found in music. I was curious about what was making my auditory system perceive the electronic sounds as welcoming and puts me in some sort of trance.
After many rediscoveries of my identity, I ended up in the universe of techno music. It’s in that universe where I feel the most comfortable and at ease. I am especially captivated to the dark, experimental and ambient techno sounds. I always approach my DJ set with a particular mindset and let my feelings lead the way, sort of a storytelling, and the purpose of a storyteller is not to tell you how to think, but to give you questions to think upon, while inducing a sort of hypnosis and leading you on a journey beyond the ordinary world. I love creating a spatial tension and hostile atmospheres while mixing. [...]

Binary 는 그 이름뿐만이 아닌, 그 안에는 훨씬 더 깊은 의미가 내포되어 있다.

우리의 조상들의 사고방식은 언제나 '이항' 이었다. 모든 복잡함 속에서 현실을 이해하기 위해 우리는 대립합을 만들었다. "전부 혹은 무 (無)" 의 이항대립적 법칙이 지배하는 곳에는 중간이 없다. 그러나 현실은 실제로 항상 우리의 '감각' 이 시사하는 것보다 더 복잡하고 풍부하다.

이 "전부 혹은 무 (無)" 를 넘어선 이러한 인식은 Ana Bogatinovska 와 Jovana Gjorgievska 를 연결시켰다. 서로 처음 알게 된 이들은 그들 모국의 음악 축제에서 만났다. 그리고 전자 음악에 대한 오랜 논의 끝에, 그들은 약간 다르지만 비슷한 전자 음악의 취향을 연결할 프로젝트를 만들기로 결정했다.
