Karmasynk is back on Formation Records with his latest release featuring two very tasty Drum and Bass killers. Based across the pond in the United States of America, there are global influences littered throughout Karamsynks music. 

Kicking things off with ‘Survival’ were introduced to a mellow and laidback drum and bass track. With a consistently solid drum pattern throughout, accompanied by some perfectly produced layered bass sections. ‘Survival’ brings the essence of Karmasynk’s style together in one place, as listeners are engulfed in a concoction of drum and bass elements coming together. 

The second track were brought by Karmasynk is titled ‘The Instep’ with a heavy stomping drum pattern that ripples throughout the track. There are perfectly produced synths used throughout with create a deeper texture to the track, whilst adding an airy surreal element of the unknown.

Conrad Subs has been on fire with many releases spanning across labels such as Soulvent Records, Deep In The Jungle Records, Nuusic, Symmetry Recordings, Ram Records, LionDub International, Liquid V and Dread Recordings just to name a few.  Formation Records is proud to present ‘Temple EP’. Compromised of 5 blistering tracks that are an essential part of every DJs arsenal. 

Kicking off the EP with the title track ‘Temple’, this is a deep and dark and stomper. 
With a promising introduction comprised mainly of lonely high hats and distant vocal chants, we are quickly reaching the first drop to be hit in the face with a blasting rolling bass. 

The second track, ‘Like No One Before’, is infused with soul through the slow and steady introduction. With the powerful drum section emerging into the drop, and a warping well produced bass there is a serious presence within ‘Like No One Before’. 

‘Slab’ is a track with real attitude. With the drop on this track comprised of a masterful drum beat that will be ringing in listeners ears and a pumping bass that adds the depth to the track. 

The penultimate track, ‘Blunt Edge’, is uniquely deep and clinical as Conrad Subs continues his production mastery, with another salacious drumbeat leading the charge with a naughty bass warping throughout.

As we come to the final track of the EP, Conrad Subs take you back to the 90’s with the jungle roller ‘Chow Down’. Filled with rapid breakbeats, heavily syncopated percussion, and deep basslines, this one is for the hard-core ravers.

Conrad Subs - Temple

SOLA is a Drum & Bass trio comprised of James, Robbie and Paul. They have releases on Eatbrain, Jungle Cakes, ProgRam, Suburban Base, Formation, Korsakov Music, Play Me, Nuusic, Dance Concept, Gorilla Warfare, Dub Damage, Deep In The Jungle, Riot Dubs, Boomslang, 24 Karat, Soul Deep, Headsbass, and their own imprint Grand Theft Audio.

After many singles and EPs, their debut album Stars Align, released on Grand Theft Audio in September 2022 to widespread critical acclaim. The promo journey for the LP landed them an upload on UKF Drum & Bass as well as an interview for UKF with Dave Columbo Jenkins and a guestmix for Mollie Collins on Kiss FM.

They hit 2023 running with high profile EP and Single releases on Korsakov Music, Play Me, Boomslang & Formation, which have seen them receiving support from as far afield as Pendulum, Sub Focus & Ray Keith. In April, they won the DJ Rap remix competition against 658 other entries and in May they released the remix album Stars Realigned on GTA, including the anthemic Cliques remix of Pico De Gallo.

In August and September, they did their first tour outside of Europe with performances in Canada, USA, Vietnam & Australia and are currently planning an extended US & Canada tour for 2024, a year which so far has seen them release on legendary labels like Eatbrain, Jungle Cakes and Suburban Base, as well as netting a second UKF upload for Gulf Stream w/ K Jah on Grand Theft Audio.

Their sets are a fast-paced and unpredictable with an emphasis on crowd reaction and stacked to the brim with tracks that won't be heard anywhere else for months, sometimes years, as well as fan favourites from their back catalogue.
