The A Side starts with “New Follow” a trippy chicagoesque morphing House track rolling all over, steadily growing behind the hypnotic voice and the pushing bass figure in darkened acid landscapes. This one features Felipe Valenzuela (Cadenza) from Chile and is the result of a long night in Woodys studio in Berlin! On the flip Woody himself proves that he’s still on fire with the soulful-dubby-technoid-deep-funky flavourish upbuilding “Let it work” guaranteeing waves of excitement on the floors. B2 is called “” and was done by the Chilean duo Felipe Valenzuela, Dani Casarano and Woody. It is no secret that often the B2 tracks are the true gems, this 12” is no exception. Reduced dubby Tech House in finest manner, accentuated on every clap and grooving all over!

Traversing the aural landscapes of Akytra lends itself to a thrilling psychedelic adventure from start to finish.

My first mix in about a year, Akytra has developed over several huge shifts in my personal life, the most significant of which was losing my dog in June. It's been a rough year and this mix reflects a lot of that darkness.

As always, I take pride in crafting non-traditional, non-conventional mixes that meld into something somehow greater than the sum of their parts. This mix is no exception and drifts between psychill, downtempo, psydub, idm, ambient, and glitch-dub, with tastes ranging drastically between ethno-tribal, atmospheric metal, breaks, classical, and a few other tricks up my sleeve as always.

I feel like this mix has accurately captured the current state of my very being. I took a lot of risks in this one that have paid off beautifully, as this is my favorite mix I've made thus far in my DJ career. This shit is lit. I promise.
