No stranger to the limelight, Taylor has brought his uniquely powerful style of dance music to some of the biggest venues and festivals in the biz. Some highlights include his multi-summer residency at the revered Amnesia Ibiza, as well as successive appearances at We Are FSTVL and gigs at Studio 338, Tobacco Dock, Motion Bristol, and Soho Garden Dubai. One of the most prolific acts on the scene, Taylor has released music on such storied imprints as Elrow, Spinnin Deep, Repopulate Mars (Lee Foss' label), Hot Fuss, South Of Saturn, Glasgow Underground, Viva, Roush, Superfett, and NONSTOP. He has worked with Roland Clark, remixed Steve Lawler, and been remixed by John Summit. 'Saltshaker' is sure to get the crowd moving in any setting.

Jamie Jones and Lee Foss welcome Brazilian newcomer Cassi to Hot Creations as he unveils his two-track  EP, ‘Request’.  

A new name quickly catching a lot of attention within the tech house world, Brazilian DJ/producer Cassiano  Salbego, aka Cassi, only released his debut record via Amine Edge & DANCE’s CUFF Records in August of last  year. However, the months since have seen the exciting South American drop a sprinkling of follow-ups and  downloads to begin to showcase his sound and style, with a growing list of supporters added by the day. Next up,  he gets set for his biggest release to date, making his debut appearance on James Jones and Lee Foss’  internationally renowned label Hot Creations with two new originals across ‘Request’.
 
“In the process of creating these tracks, I thought a lot about how to change things up and to do  something a little different, yet simple at the same time. I used a lot of samples and layers to give a more  robust structure, using many drum machines from the 90s. Honestly, at first I didn’t think much about  shaping the tracks for a specific purpose. I just let it flow. When they started to take shape, I thought of  Hot Creations and just gave it a shot. Happily, here we are!”- Cassi.  

Opening with rolling drums, slinking bass groove and hooky warped vocals, arpeggiated lead synths soon take  hold of ‘Request’ as the track builds into a cascading surge of energy, while ‘Nervousinha’ is a stripped back yet  impactful cut that sees further vox snippers paired with trippy and resonant melodies. 

Cassi ‘Request’ drops via Hot Creations on 26th May 2023.
