The Butler reinvention of Carl Cox's tune is an addictive remix that pays a respectable honor to the 90s sound of the original while still grooving with a modern twist. Over the past few years, the Berlin based artist KlangKuenstler came stomping into the tech-house scene with such impact that everyone was forced to stand up and take notice. With a string of Top 10 hits and releases on coveted labels like Toolroom, Mother Recordings and Elrow, the German producer and DJ has quickly risen through the ranks to become one of the de jure artists at the top of his genre. As such, we thought it only right to bring him into the fold of Deeperfect for his next banging release!
Klangkuenstler brings his instantly recognisable aesthetic to Dance With Me and delivers a full power tech-house monster. His heavy jacking drum groove sets the pace and gets things off to a heaving start before a deep, pulsing sub joins in to support the energetic rhythm. Some dark techno open hats keep the mood focused and provide contrast against the hooky, soulful female vocal. Sparse synth stabs and restrained effects are used to punctuate at just the right moments and help the track to flow effortlessly from beginning to end.
Up on remix duty is Raffa FL who has been killing the game over the past few years with stand out releases on Avorte, Material, Criminal Hype and many more influential labels. While he keeps things tech-house and pushing, Raffa FL brings his own distinct flavour to the remix with edgier drums than the original and a deep and banging bassline. By using the vocal hook sparingly and introducing some intense bass stabs he is able to create a tension building roller coaster of sound that will be right at home in peak time sets across the globe.

August is kicking in hard, the season is halfway gone, and elrow Music keeps tearing up dancefloors across the globe! To keep up the good pace, for our 162nd reference, elrow Music is bringing one of Britain's most interesting imports: Martin Ikin.

With two original tracks, Martin presents 'Rockin Beatz EP' that opens up with
the track naming the EP, in which Ikin starts building the energy with a drum progression with little more than a few FX and vocals on top, to then break into a danceable and groovy track, with a lot of focus around the vocal treatment along the track.

After, we have 'PWR (Original Mix)', a track in which Martin starts with a simple yet catchy drum progression, before breaking into a soulful, techy madness with a clear inspiration on the 90's sounds and vocals. The song maintains its momentum until the end, making this a really powerful track for any time in the floor.

All in all, another great discovery by elrow Music's team, that now becomes part of the big family! Stay tuned this August, as we're about to drop a big one!
