Solano Star is originally a Brazilian band formed in 1988 in Belem, the biggest city of the Amazon Region. Since its original formation, the style of the band passes through basic rock'n roll with influences of Rolling Stones, Stray Cats, Lou Reed, Buddy Holly, Ramones and others.
Solano Star Recorded and launched a Chrome Tape in 1992 with 12 songs (which received 3 awards on the most important musical award from Para State in Brazil), and recorded 16 songs in 2007 as part of an unreleased CD. In 2012, Solano Star started a project called "the Aussie Tracks", with new songs in both english and portuguese. 
After several formations, Solano Star became a one man band, formed by the original lead guitar and composer Claudio Coimbra, who plays most of the instruments and does the studio work out of Brisbane/Australia, with the support of old band fellows and friends, who eventually make guest appearances singing or playing instruments in some songs.
