Sungate welcomes the return of Fase Bipolar to its barracks.
The valencian duo, composed of label co-founder Moy Santana and infamous antihero Finalversion3, soars at nosebleed altitude with an EP of uncompromised techno. 
Tinged with euphoria, these tracks are the perfect soundtrack to solar storm navigation. A myriad of electromagnetic rhythms bombarded by white noise, FM alchemy, and a heavy dose of rumbling bass. 
Anthony Linell adds to the release with a remix characterised by its addictive pulse, an exploration into texture locked into an elegant grid of mechanised techno. Desroi’s remix, in turn, pushes the EP’s euphoric traits up a notch by delivering a shimmering rework of club-focused dance impressionism.

With the ADE music conference only a couple of weeks away, the latest Solar Distance release is a special sampler showcasing some new and under exposed artists, also featuring tracks by Prymate & Raul Rodriguez, Sergio Sergi, Knowhat, and Hakk & Moy Santana.

01. Prymate & Raul Rodriguez - Mother

First on the release is a collaborative track from Prymate and Raul Rodriguez, who as a duo made their first collaborative release last year on Solar Distance.

Both are established DJ’s with Raul Rodriguez being a main resident at Ushuaïa in Ibiza, where Juanma Fuentes aka Prymate started out as a resident for Pacha Ibiza and was also a key part of Pacha Moscow before his current residency also at Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel.

Prymate's music can also be found on One Million Dollars Ibiza, Quanticman, Bondage Music plus UpBeat Records, and Raul Rodriguez has previously featured on Deeplomatic Recordings.

Their track titled “Mom” has loosely sequenced tribal percussion layered over uplifting bass throbs with spooky vocals adding some atmosphere. Dreamy with a stripped back sound, this melodic house track has ethereal qualities, and has no doubt been the perfect soundtrack for the sun setting over Ushuaïa. The EP also finishes with a stripped back DJ tool of Mom offering a beatless version.

02. Sergio Sergi - Margherita

Sergio Sergi is an Italian producer from Sicily who boasts releases on labels including Moan, Nervous Records, and Sanity. Having been a DJ in some of the world’s best clubs, he is a rising star who is regularly championed by the likes of Luciano, Davide Squillace, Mattias Tanzmann and Loco Dice.

With rigid percussion and a prominent ride symbol, this release has slow building synths and other melodic elements that surround its trippy lead vocal. Dramatic with a solid dancefloor focus, this track fuses delicate textures with an uptempo groove.

03. Knowhat - Too Many Things

Knowhat is an established DJ who has played warm up sets for people such as Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Livio & Roby, Oliver Huntemann, Layo & Bushwacka!, Nicole Moudaber, Tiefschwarz, Steve Lawler, Marco Carola and Paco Osuna. He has also released music on labels including NONSTOP and Gorilla Recordings.

Starting with dramatic bass growls and tense synths along with some sparse atmospheric percussions, this slow building track certainly packs a punch. Unfolding with ever growing intensity, it's spacious vibe with undertones of techno is a fine example of how less can often be so much more.

04. Hakk & Moy Santana - Space Waves

Spanish artists Hakk and Moy Santana are both solo artists in their own right, with Moy Santana having released on labels including Recline Music, Tecnove Records, Senssual and Fever Sound, plus he has also collaborated with AFFKT for releases on Sincopat.

Francisco Domingo aka Hakk is a popular DJ in his hometown of Málaga, where he plays regularly at the same events as Moy Santana, and through that relationship they started making music together, with this being their first official collaborative release.

Full of cosmic vibes and epic synths that give things a vast and open feel, “Space Waves” sounds like a journey into the unknown. As the title suggests, this track has a subtle sci-fi influence and is full of atmosphere, as it builds to a crescendo, then erupts with energy after the main break.

Our 6th release comes from the hand of Ruff Stuff, this Italian duo based in Berlin presents "Feel Doog EP" featuring three original tracks: "RawMates", "Brave" and "Could Be Enough" through which they demonstrate their clear influences on Deep House, Techno and Garage from the old school and their ability to adapt such genres to the newest and freshest sounds. This EP includes a deep and dark remix produced by the Detroit legend, Gari Romalis.
