Yama decided to take the commission since she needs money for game maker studio for a game she is working on. I am really happy with how this turned out and I know Yama is also very happy with the finished result. This is his most complex song she has made to date and she put a lot of effort to it.

What’s up, guys?! It’s been three weeks since the last upload; is everyone doing alright? Sorry to keep you waiting with this next upload…this is something that I’ve actually been experimenting with for about two months. I never once stopped thinking about you, though.

I hope you enjoy this awesome song! It’s a combination of two things: the charm of Dragon Ball’s OST and the progression of MEGALOVANIA from Undertale. The instrumentation truly captures the character of Dragon Ball’s awesome soundtrack, but the songs are not sampled! I re-created the instrumentation myself using various VSTs and libraries, all by ear…I’m taking some serious pride in that! I’m a big fan of Dragon Ball, after all. This song encompasses a vicious struggle between a seriously powered up Piccolo and the evil Cell. Let me know what you think!

Interesting Facts:
- I spent two months finding cool Kontakt libraries, mixing channels, and listening to the OST of Dragon Ball to get a feel for what I needed to do. After I finished that, I finally began working on putting this together with something that resembled Megalovania.
- To be honest, if I took the Earthbound Guitar out, you wouldn’t be able to tell it was made for this purpose.
- The respective themes of Piccolo, Cell, and Gohan are all used in this song. Gohan and Piccolo have a nice bond in the show, so I found it fitting.
