Yama decided to take the commission since she needs money for game maker studio for a game she is working on. I am really happy with how this turned out and I know Yama is also very happy with the finished result. This is his most complex song she has made to date and she put a lot of effort to it.

What’s up, guys?! It’s been three weeks since the last upload; is everyone doing alright? Sorry to keep you waiting with this next upload…this is something that I’ve actually been experimenting with for about two months. I never once stopped thinking about you, though.

I hope you enjoy this awesome song! It’s a combination of two things: the charm of Dragon Ball’s OST and the progression of MEGALOVANIA from Undertale. The instrumentation truly captures the character of Dragon Ball’s awesome soundtrack, but the songs are not sampled! I re-created the instrumentation myself using various VSTs and libraries, all by ear…I’m taking some serious pride in that! I’m a big fan of Dragon Ball, after all. This song encompasses a vicious struggle between a seriously powered up Piccolo and the evil Cell. Let me know what you think!

Interesting Facts:
- I spent two months finding cool Kontakt libraries, mixing channels, and listening to the OST of Dragon Ball to get a feel for what I needed to do. After I finished that, I finally began working on putting this together with something that resembled Megalovania.
- To be honest, if I took the Earthbound Guitar out, you wouldn’t be able to tell it was made for this purpose.
- The respective themes of Piccolo, Cell, and Gohan are all used in this song. Gohan and Piccolo have a nice bond in the show, so I found it fitting.

Long ago... in a war-torn world of chaos... there lived a terrible demon overlord.

His evil influence felt across the entirety of the universe.

Most who challenged the demon overlord perished, and those who survived were left with permanent scars, both physical and mental.

The only hope anyone had of being rid of the demon overlord for good was a titan which hadn't been born yet.

Knowing this all too well, the demon overlord's top priority was to destroy the unborn titan before it could hatch.

Fortunately, those who guarded the unborn titan were eventually able to confine the demon overlord to a magic throne, one which kept him permanently locked in place.

...

But one day...

The demon overlord was freed from his throne by his subordinates.

Fueled by years of pent-up rage, the demon overlord directed all of his attention solely to destroying the unborn titan.

Those who guarded the unborn titan fought long and hard, but they were no match for the demon overlord and his forces.

With those who guarded the unborn titan defeated, the demon overlord cleaved the titan's egg in two, killing the unborn titan and everyone who relied on it to survive.

With no one left to oppose the demon overlord, he was finally able to achieve his goal: destroy the universe and create a new, better one.

...

However, after the demon overlord successfully laid waste to the universe, he quickly realized the mistake he had made.

No matter how hard he tried, he was unable to recreate the universe.

The demon overlord had become absolute, but no matter how powerful one becomes, there is no bringing back what has been destroyed.

This turn of events filled the demon overlord with unyielding rage.

Rage potent enough to completely fill the hollow shell of the universe the demon overlord had destroyed.

Rage potent enough to create something new altogether.
