Raketa is the second artist from Slovenia, Ljubljana we welcome onboard the voyage! Supplying us with her precise knowledge, she was our sound engineer at Channel Zero and did a fantastic job ! 
Besides working there she works at Radio Študent as a broadcast and studio engineer and at Gromka besides live audio.

With this mighty hip moving selection Raketa is showing herself from her best side! Enjoy this fun & colourful set with smooth technical accuracy.

I miss gigs where I could develop some UK garage flavoured sets, so I did this one to experiment with percussion and play with some more groove. Core of the mix are groovy UK bass tracks by Desert sound colony, and those more broken and grimy ones by Cassius Select.

UHF is an electro duo hailing from Spain, formed by veteran DJs José Castillo and David Aragón. Longstanding figures in Madrid’s underground electronic music scene, their sound draws heavily from the raw aesthetics of New Beat, EBM, Synth-Pop, and the pioneering rhythms of Detroit techno. Their production journey began in 2014 with the release of their debut track, Breakers Life, on the Gladio Operations label, which evolved into a formal label partnership. Renowned for their productions, they're just as remarkable behind the decks; the tracklist speaks for itself. Enjoy it!

Where has the time gone? It seems like only yesterday we were prepping our inaugural podcast from Ed Banger founder Busy P for your listening delights and here we are today at edition number 500! (Insert cheering and whole load of whooping!)

We’ve had some great guests since launching the series back in 2009 but today we’ve got a mix that is up there with the very best of them with a special 4 hour mix, that's a massive 64 tracks from one of the founding members of Drum & Bass, a pioneering DJ and 'Mercury Prize' winning producer... Mr Roni Size.  \

2015 was a huge year for Roni Size and Reprazent, with headline slots at some of the biggest festival across the UK and Europe, it proved there is still the desire to see the original live band in Drum and Bass doing what they do best. 2016 saw original junglists, Roni Size and DJ Krust relaunched their seminal label, Full Cycle Records earlier this year.  Full Cycle Records was born in 1994 (previously known as Roni and Krust’s Full Circle Records), and quickly became one of the most important jungle – and then drum & bass – labels of the early ‘90’s. The Bristol-based label issued now classic releases from the likes of Size, Krust, Die, Suv, D Product, Flynn & Flora, and beyond, before closing in 2009.

Both the mix and image represent a simpler, easier time; one that I have felt nostalgic for lately. I took that photograph (on yet another long-lost camera) at a park in Sydney around the time I started DJing. A couple of the tracks included are those that inspired me to start DJing - most notably Zsa Zsa Laboum's 'Something Scary' - fitting then and fitting now.
