This was the very first set played at Dementha for the week. We were planning to kick things off with our first-ever evening party on Sunday to celebrate Dementha’s 20th anniversary, but the rain had other plans. So my Monday afternoon set ended up being the opener.

I wanted to start things off with a bang — high energy, high tempo, positive vibes to get the floor moving and set the stage for the week ahead. This set gave me the chance to stretch a little and play tracks I don’t usually get to in club sets: faster cuts, bits of UK garage, dubstep influences — all mixed in with the house and techno I love. Burning Man (and Dementha) gives you the freedom to experiment and push the edges, and I had a lot of fun leaning into that.

It felt like a great way to launch into the week. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did playing it.
