Hailing from Réunion, a volcanic Island in mids of the Indian Ocean, Aurélie grew up with the local rhythms Séga and Maloya, to later get soaked into Punk and New Wave. In her 20ies she finds her love for house, techno and electro, and starts organise parties and curate events such as the Electropicales Festival in St Denis, the islands main city. In her sets you can hear that seldom combination of afro rhythms and dark electronics, of heavy body music and mesmerizing psychedelia. Like Réunion Island her musical approach is characterized by a fascinating mixed identity and cultural diversity, that is both intense as the island's volcano and seductive as its cuisines.

A track Idealist and myself made back in 2020 for the people in lockdown. published first on the "make some room" compilation by clubculture.ch as a solidarity project for swiss electronic music makers whose very existence was threatened by the pandemic. unfortunately, i hardly received any money myself and was completely broke after the pandemic.

Solarstaub (former act Staubsauger) is a music project between popular melodys and abstract grooves .

It's popmusic with influences from electro, 8o's, minimal, dub and ambient. The project has no limit at all. Everything is possible.

Staubsauger is producing and playing live electronic music since 1995. His sound is mix between electronica, electro, pop and dub. It’s open sound, always with harmonic melodies and a warm character. He also composed music for theatre and video-art. He is also one of the founder of the record-label spezialmaterial. The best thing for him is to play live, because the infuence of the room and the public let the music breath
