22 years later and quite unbelievably the first ever new remix of the track is finally here. On the remix duties is Australian Jaytech who stays faithful to the original by adding layers of muscular electronic charging beats and grooves. On remix duties is Game Of Thrones star Kristian Nairn, who's expansive uplifting mix, shimmers and shines. The Irish producer positions the dreamy vocals floating between the delayed synth melodies and luscious pads. The drums and combined elements have been delicately positioned which deliver a dynamic remix.

The release is accompanied by the London Based producer Dan Nugent, AKA Latex Zebra who takes things up a notch. The distinctive original melody is combined with a strong rolling bass line and acidic undertones. The high tempo is driven by the punchy drums and thick synths that cruse this remix into new dimensions.

Back once again, causing a stir on Solar Storm, we showcase another superb single from the Canadian duo Altered Waves. Based in Montreal, Anthony Santopolo and Davide Campellone released their debut EP on Solar Storm in 2019, entitled V3 & Collide. Since then, the duo continue to push their sounds further with this energising and atmospheric single titled 'Ephemeral'.

Altered Waves are know for their crystal clear productions and this is a prime example. Ephemeral contains many components that are well balanced with each other, from the crisp fluctuating synth lines that are underpinned with powerful side chain bass, to the punchy drums, all tightly controlled with distortion. At the 2 minute mark you will find an impressive breakdown, in which a highly catchy, emotive melody, layered with piano emerges. This transforms the track into new territory and drops with full energy for high dance floor impact.

This release is supported with an ambient mix. The baseline melody is well paired with the enhanced piano and textural elements that give this version lots of interesting details. A downtempo, stripped back beat is introduced around the half way mark to keep the track flowing forward. This is accompanied by some huge sonic sweeping pads that drift in an out, delaying across the stereo field.

Solar Storm warmly welcomes the latest addition to the artist roster; Universal Solution. The Manchester based Gavin Holland has been releasing deep and luscious tracks since the early 2000's. His work can be found on renowned labels such as Anjunadeep, Silk Music and Colorize, to name a few. He has delivered a two track single entitled 'Ischia' consisting of one original and a ambient chill out version.

The cosmic journey kicks off with the Ischia Original mix. Ascending synth arpeggios along with sweeping ethereal pads lift the atmosphere up. The melodic elements progressively rise and fall, dancing around the spectrum. Refreshingly deep chords glide along the dreamy airspace. The drum rolls and percussion keep things moving along and the energy alive.

The release is accompanied with an ambient stripped back version, full of wide spanning pads and a rhythm that rocks forward and back with a new snare tone and sound effects.

Overall this is a great uplifting debut release from Universal Solution.

Iconic tracks such as Cafe Del Mar resonate with us for many years, yet sometimes its time for a new make over. 

It is our pleasure to welcome the Padua raised, Prague based producer Spada, who has given his interpretation of this classic track with a modern twist. Ermanno Andrea Spadati AKA Spada has been releasing music with a crossover of various styles and feelings since 2013, since then gaining notable support from the likes of Tiesto, Above & Beyond, Tritonal, Don Diablo, Watermat, Steve Aoki and many more of the industry's leading figures. The atmospheric releases from Spada can be found on renowned labels such as Anjunabeats, Armada and AFTR:HRS.

The Italian artists delivers a powerful interpretation of Cafe Del Mar that exhibits crystal clear synths that spread a wide atmosphere across the track. The polished Bass line is underpinned with crisp and punchy drums making this an effective choice for the dance floor. The iconic melody resonates and echos around the space created in this tidy production from Spada, that Solar Storm is very proud to present.

The sixteenth release on Solar Storm comes flying in from Portsmouth based producer Dan Thompson.
After releasing on renowned labels such as A State Of Trance, Future Sound Of Egypt & Coldharbour, its a pleasure to welcome the British producer to the label, for his first Single 'Drops Of Saturn'.

This release is all about captivating you with the emotive and powerful melodies bursting through the mix! From the very get go the tracks atmosphere builds, as the beat and metallic bass line rolls forward. The delicate and dream like melody ricochets around the sonic spectrum, before the main break down hits, introducing another synth voice. This transforms the main melody, taking it to a whole new level of euphoria, filled with angelic pads. There is plenty of detailed sound design and engaging sci-fi effects that makes the production of this track stand out!

Bursting into 2022 with some fresh new talent! We are delighted to present the latest single from Dee Am, entitled 'Basic Thoughts' and welcome him to the Solar Storm family.

The Russian artist based in Saratov recently came onto the scene and has been releasing class productions on Elliptical Sun melodies over the last year.

We were captivated as soon as we first listened to "Basic Thoughts" due to the distinct lead hook. This uplifting catchy melody is juxtaposed with a fierce bass line that tears though the mix. Dee Am pays attention to detail in all of his productions and this is no exception. The glitchy percussion and sound effects help drive the track forward along with the tight drums, making this a dance floor weapon. Atmospheric pads build up the tone and the structural developments in this crisp and clean production keep you engaged 

The single is reinforced with a downtempo edit. Dee Am deconstructs the lead melody and explores the themes whilst introducing a totally new vibe to the track. This version feel deep and spacious, with delicate percussion and sound effects. The lead synth bursts through the space created within the mix, fluctuating between the stripped back beats. A sweeping sub bass glides below the high frequency elements like fingers through silk. This downtempo chilled out version is the perfect counterpart to the release.

Here at Solar Storm we are proud to introduce Adam Sobiech to the team for his first single 'Liquid Love'. The Polish producer has been releasing on labels such as Euphonic, Alter Ego, Silk Music, and Nanostate, which gained noteworthy support from trance heavy-weights such as Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Gareth Emery, Above & Beyond and Cosmic Gate. 

Adam creates something really special with his crisp production techniques on this irresistibly catchy single 'Liquid Love'.
The powerful metallic baseline stands out in the mix, it's heavy yet clean at the same time and bounces in-between the round kicks. Building the uplifting feeling with the thickening distant melodies and atmospheric wide pads during the break down.

The release is paired with a downtempo version. This edit builds on texture and ambiance of the original mix with distant expanded piano notes that dissolve into the wide modulating pads and harmonies. A stripped back shuffling beat keeps the track moving forward between the dense and warm dreamlike atmosphere. This perfectly captures the essence of the original, but delivers a soft and chilled out feel.

For his full Solar Storm debut, "Endless & Forever", Ariscan partners with Paul Pearson to deliver a two tracker of the finest melodic trance.

First up is "Endless".  Darting arpeggios, rolling chunky basslines and floating synth lines are the order of the day.  Some tasteful vocal and some heavenly chord changes round off proceedings to fine effect.

Next is the slightly more robust "Forever". Melody remains key but here the bass and beats are deeper and the groove shoots straight for a low-slung direction. With a classy breakdown and a memorable melody this track is just as much a winner.

Following up from our labels very first release Jan Johnston is again giving us something old (and classic) and something new. One of the biggest trance tracks from the early 2000s was "Flesh".  The Tiesto mix in particular capturing the sound of the moment and filling many a compilation CD.   Jan is back now with new versions of this classic song.

First up we head to the UK for tech-trance meister Genix.  His mix strips back the melody adds in some dirty-fat synth and room-swelling drums to the backing while still providing not one but two massive moments... Jans famous vocal and one gigantic riff.  Armada favourite Simon McCann is next with his big room trance workout.  This one is all about pace, riffs and forward momentum.  Next up we take a trip back to 2003 and the present an un-earthed jewel in the form of the Orkedia remix. Acid lines, pace and 4-4 are the order of the day from the Finish star.

UK based Paul Hawcroft is next with his progressive wonder stroke remix. Fellow brit Chris Salt is next marking his recent return to the scene with a fine low-slung and dark brooder.  To round off the EP the main version gives us the sound we are all familiar with.  Quite unbelievably the "original" version of Flesh has never seen the light before.  So far it has all been remixes... So - here for the first time -  the original brings it in, stomping home.

The rip-roaring sound of Altered Waves emerges from the music scene in Montreal which is famous for its energy. The duo is made up of Anthony Santopolo and Davide Campellone, both natives of Montreal with the same goal: to make music which electrifies and entrances its listeners.

Their debut single boasts two transcendental tracks: 'V3 & Collide'. 'V3' has a deceivingly stripped-back opening until rhythmic and euphoric layers are added in anticipation of a climatic release of energy. The track encapsulates the Trance genre's tendency to take its listener on an emotional journey through building cymbal rolls. Next up is 'Collide'; Altered Waves make use of drum machines and striking keys to create an uplifting voyage fueled by deep and dirty beats. The strong rhythms are broken up with moments of elation and peacefulness. The combination leaves you dancing whether you like it or not.

Next up on Solar Storm we revisit one of the all-time trance top moments, Greece 2000.  Working with the Hooj Choons crew - who were such a big part of the success of the classic - we present three new trance flavoured remixes for your listening pleasure.

First up we clock in with Matt Fax.  His productions and remixes for labels such as Enhanced and Anjuna have propelled this talented Frenchman into the big leagues.  His remix is a progressive low-slung groover.  Warbling gut-busting basses, darting keys and that all important Greece 2000 riff in crescendo. 

UK based Genix takes things on a tech-trance tip next with his reworking. His version is all about the pulsing grooves layered in with a multitude of drum and percussion workings.   Again the big riff we all know and love so well takes pride of place.

We end the release with a reworking from Episodic.  He focuses more on the melodic elements and makes ample use of the classic Greece 2000 sounds (freshly played and reprogrammed for this release).  Listen hard enough and you can even hear some string orchestra in there.

Solar Storm welcomes the established and influential group Tilt to the roster, with a remix pack of the seminal track 'Butterfly'. Mick Park, Mick Wilson and John Graham joined forces in the early nineties, then later were signed by Paul Oakenfold to Perfecto/Warner Music label. They had their first UK top 40 hit with 'I Dream and In 1998 they moved record label to Red Jerry's brilliant Hooj Choons, to continue making more more hit singles. Fast forward over 20 years and the track continues its legacy on Solar Storm.

The first remix comes from the UK producer and fellow Stoke associate Danny Stubbs. His 'Empress' version retains the ethereal vibe and iconic vocals from the original, but gives it a modern, punchy make over. The clean punchy kicks and percussion slice through the massive pads and soaring bass line.

The founder of Magic Trance records, Beatsole, supply's two remixes for the release, including an instrumental edit. The Russian producer creates a more stripped back version, with a rolling hollow bass line and crystal clear synth stabs. The giant euphoric breakdown, is exaggerated with snare rolls and crisp claps to reach the peak.

The final remix comes in a ambient / electronica form, smoothly rounding off the release. Chillhawk, who previously contributed a remix on Solar Storm, displays his skills in creating a engaging edit that takes you to higher grounds. As the track gently progresses, the vocals are introduced around the half way followed by delicate drums and sweeping melodies. This 11 minute edit would work superbly at the end of a closing set.
