There were a number of symbols and patterns plastered delicately upon the old wall, the cave was cold and empty but for the etched markings illuminated by the flickering glow of candles. These were drawings from ancient times, thought to be lost and buried deep beneath the city walls, it was only after several hours of underground exploration that they were presented with such a sight. It was hard to establish what they represented or meant, it had been hundreds if not thousands of years since they were first etched.
