This track was live recorded and produced by Kollektiv Eigenklang while touring on bikes through Berlin. The bike tour was part of the Selbstgebaute Musik Programm of 2021 and their Stadtklangkarte- city maps of sounding objects.

The project "Interfere: Stechlin-Stimmen" aims to bring transparency to the deteriorating visibility of Lake Stechlin. Thus, it may be necessary to "shed light on its depths" and give voice to the various opinions, as well as the lake itself. Possible scenarios for the origin of particularly problematic phosphorus in Lake Stechlin include climate change, the Rheinsberg nuclear power plant, groundwater, aquatic plants and fish. 

In his novel "Der Stechlin," Theodor Fontane mentions that the lake reacts to world events. What is the lake trying to tell us? Can local measures contribute as solutions to global challenges?
