Not much of a name to it, but I was bored and decided to replace the drums and bassline in <a href="http://soundcloud.com/solatrus/endless-ocean">Endless Ocean</a> after hearing <a href="http://soundcloud.com/hesperidia/">@liquidCitrus'</a> <a href="http://soundcloud.com/hesperidia/endless-ocean-partial-chip-mix">remix of it</a>.

It's kind of amusing how simple it was to make it sound pretty different.

Man, I fucking love Earthbound battle music. Its like New Jack Swing from hell. There's no music like it that I've found.

I decided not to embellish it and kind of keep it close to the original... of course, this would be a really fun jumping off point for some crazy shit.

Yup. Worked on this more. Mark was here and gave me some good ideas, mostly the minimalist version of the opening string section. It really changed the flow of the song. Sorry about the mix being atrocious, haha.
