@lea-lisa has been in an around the house scene since the 90's and is widely recognised for her DJing talents which pre Covid regularly saw her travel across the globe to light up some of the finest clubs the scene has to offer. Lea is also an accomplished producer releasing on Wolf Music, Phonica / Karakul, Mona Musique & Inner Balance Recordings with strong DJ support from the likes of Kerri Chandler, Jovonn, Dj Grégory, Rainer Trueby, S3A and Laurent Garnier.

With a brand new EP landing via Phonica sub label @karakulrecords, we asked Lea to put together a mix for us which you can check above, it's a classy selection of music from across the house universe from deep to soulful.

Manuel Darquart is a DJ and producer duo based between London and Auckland, currently run by Louis Anderson-Rich. Having already made a huge impact in a very short space of time on the electronic music scene, following releases for Coastal Haze, WOLF Music and Infinite Pleasure, they now have a new EP coming out on Slam City Jams. Drawing influence from classic Italian house labels such as Irma, Antima and Palmares, they have been putting their own twist and interpretation on the regular house track by joining the dots between yesterday’s golden era classics and today’s club bangers. We got a chance to ask them some questions about their workflow, how they'd describe their own music and what the future holds.

@kaialce and Atlanta’s house scene are fairly synonymous at this point. The ATLien (by way of Detroit and NYC) carries a uniquely smooth sound; influenced heavily by the soulful sound of the motor city and surely related to his time at the famed Music Institute. Since relocating to Atlanta, Kai has cultivated quite a following by way of his wax imprint NDATL (those Special Editions are a must-have) and parties such as DEEP, MJQ and House In The Park. Alcé is an expert producer in his own right, having cooked up tasty tracks and remixes for the likes of FXHE, Mahogani Music, Kolour LTD, Local Talk, Defected, and obviously his own imprint as well. It’s safe to say Kai is a busy man. Lucky for us, the guru took the time to do a little Q&A and guestmix for the blog.
