bad LSD trips is the project of Miami-based musicians and visual artists Domingo Castillo and doris dana. Earlier this year, the duo released their self-titled debut via Enmossed x Psychic Liberation. It is a must listen document that falls in the interzone between ambient, industrial, and tape music. Let them expand your mind in the second half of the broadcast. 

About the mix: "For this mix, we intercalated tracks that we both selected without knowing what the other person was planning to include, which is very much a reflection of the collaboration that bad LSD trips turned out to be. Many of these artists/albums became part of the psychedelic landscape we inhabited during a time when we were forced to be homebound and in some ways, they bring about our individual approach to recording and the sonic sensibilities that inform our sound. "

Psychedelic meditations.

For anyone not yet familiar, bad lsd trips is a collaboration between artists doris dana and Domingo Castillo. Last year, they released an album on enmossed that mixes early industrial, dark ambient and drone into shape-shifting structures. It's quickly become a personal favourite. 

Their Theory Therapy mix is a special one. Like their music, it's refreshingly unpredictable and tonally distinctive – a seemingly disparate collage of hums and sounds that will firmly lodge itself into your brain. Enjoy the trip.

or the first NARR Radio episode this year, I’ve teamed up with Domingo, my counterpart on bad lsd trips. Our set mirrors both our sonic preferences and music-making approach, leading to the creation of our second album set to be released via enmossed later this year. Expect the unexpected in this eclectic mix of hums and sounds, featuring early industrial sounds, dark atmospheres, psychedelic textures, and layers of disjointed dialogue. Enjoy the trip!
