Director from the well-known electronic music documentary BEATZ. The music chameleon Eduardo de la Calle. Across a glittering 18 year production career, under an array of aliases, Madrid-based über producer de la Calle has worked with many of the most important labels of modern times - Hivern Discs, Mule Musiq, Semantica ,Non Plus ,NON SERIES,Mental Groove - as well as fathering his own vinyl-only imprint Analog Solutions. It's hard to put a fine point on Eduardo's sound. Equally capable of composing lush, languid soundscapes, exotic tech-house, sci fi Jazz and why not ,brutal big room assaults, De la Calle is a truly multi-faceted artist.

Solenoid Radio #052 - Eduardo de la Calle - [ Techno ]

This weeks Podcast number 54 has been put together by the duo, Session Restore.

On the surface, their techno follows harsh, dry and loopy patterns, but dig a little deeper and their tracks reveal pleasant melodic elements and hypnotic notes. 

Apart from producing music and DJing, Session Restore also run their record label „rauh“ and together with a group of friends, they also organize the "signals" events in Hanover. Names like Ed Davenport, DJ Deep, Zenker Brothers, Tadeo and Jeroen are a few of the guests who regular play at the event

Solenoid boasts an extensive catalog of releases in both vinyl and digital formats, spanning from house music to techno. More recently, the focus has shifted to 90s techno and progressive house with influences of trance and acid.

Solenoid regularly showcases its artists through the parties which has already taken place at Renate, Golden Gate and Zur Klappe in Berlin. The goal of Solenoid and its artists is to promote quality rave music, both in productions and primarily in vinyl sets presented by the roster of its artists.

The label's design is curated by the illustrator Tara Deacon and visual artist Riccardo Bernardi, also known as ACONITE.

The distribution is handled by KMA60.
