Tuesday is named after the Germanic/Norse god Tyr (in old english Tiw, which became Tiwesdaeg, and eventually Tuesday). He was a god most concerned with war and justice, and fittingly he was patron of warriors and heroes. He was missing his right hand after being attacked by a legendary wolf. In reality, we all fight our own wars daily, both externally and internally, and we all have wounds to show for it. Life is tough, and no one alive is perfect. But at the end of the day we are the heroes of our own stories… we pursue justice in our own ways and fight for what’s important to us - happiness, our friends and families, the pursuit of our passions. So I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge that, and to acknowledge you. 💜🙏
