Solid Grooves co-founder PAWSA delivers his first label material of the year with ‘Satoshi’s Groove’

Undeniably one of the scene’s most-loved DJs and producers, Solid Grooves co-founder PAWSA continues to deliver a never-ending arsenal of dancefloor-ready cuts perfect for the warm-up, the peak time, or the after-hours via his unmistakable, trademark low-slung rhythms and rolling productions. Following up on a string of drops via his own PAWZ imprint, May welcomes his first material of 2021 on Solid Grooves as he reveals the bumping ‘Satoshi’s Groove’.

Combining snaking basslines, slinking metallic drums, and laser-precise hats, ‘Satoshi’s Groove’ sees the UK favourite deliver a no-nonsense, driving affair - optimising the production’s minimal elements to produce yet another must-have killer cut.

Italian DJ/producer Gabriele Toma readies his deep and funky ‘Lit Bit EP’ for Jamie Jones’ Hottrax this June. 

With his releases on Sticker Music, Be On Records, and SK Recordings picking up support from big hitters Dennis Cruz, Michael Bibi, and Jamie Jones, the Puglian born Gabriele Toma prepares his debut for Jones’ Hottrax with the knockout house three-tracker ‘Lit Bit EP’. 

Across the EP, Toma works vocal snippets and detailed production flair with ease, exemplified on title cut ‘Lit Bit’ which brings squelching percussion around a funky bassline, peppered with breakdowns designed with giant sound systems and crowded rooms in mind. 

‘Back It’ sees robust drum work take centre stage, bringing sustained energy with its hard-hitting low end. ‘Go Stupid’ sees the Italian round things out with a cheeky banger, the mangled hip hop vocals dominating the track while a carefully considered arrangement and more, closing the release in refined style.

Paco Osuna's record label Mindshake welcomes a new groovy house EP from Iglesias.

Iglesias returns to Mindshake after recently dropping a remix of a track by DJ Oliver and Paco Osuna, this time the Spanish artist returns with two original tracks.

Known for his chunky basslines and flowing percussion, Iglesias has an accomplished back catalogue that includes tracks and remixes on labels such as Moon Harbour, Hottrax, Kaluki Musik, Elrow Music and Toolroom.

He is also an accomplished DJ who regularly plays at places like Amnesia in Ibiza plus numerous other prestigious venues around the world.

“Dance To My Drums” opens the release with its hip hop inspired vocals, acid-tinged bassline and techy percussion that creates a rolling groove full of uplifting energy. “Doobee Dub” is a stripped back cut with a muffled vocal sample and jackin' energy.
